I don’t know if they’re overperforming nowadays but they’re definitely one of the most damaging 20mm guns in the prop bracket. It’s a toss up between them and the U.S. 20mm guns. Even on stuff like the Yak 3 where you only get one it destroys stuff pretty handily.
Lmao the 163 is nowhere near as good. It sits at a br where planes can actually outrun it and most people will since they know it’s a UFO under 3 mins of fuel. Especially after the fuel load nerf since it plays on much bigger maps thanks to its br and it isn’t nearly as fuel efficient as the BI when you throttle down. Pair that with the MK 108 softball launchers that people can react to and dodge at 600m and it’s a rough time. The 8.7 one solves the velocity issue at the price of going up against even faster planes that can easily BnZ you all day until you either make a mistake or run out of fuel.
Weren’t you trying to do the exact same thing with me trying to defend the 1B/E? Just using different wording and basically claiming you know better? I know the strengths and weaknesses of the tank very well too. I’ve made that pretty obvious and even as a somewhat fresh player I was able to do well in it just by holding W into everything, angling, and prioritising tanks with big guns. The amount of times I’ve had 3+ people just sitting there slinging shells at me and only destroying my breach or killing my machine gunner is surreal. Meanwhile all I had to do was wait for my breach to repair, kill one of them between reloads, and repeat. As a better player from back then where I actually look around corners now instead of using the ridiculous side armor as my spotting system, it very easy to do well with it even in full uptiers.
Also on a side note, I’ve fought plenty of BIs with quite a few different planes. The only time I’ve been able to kill them is when the player flying it makes a mistake and lets me get a shot in or I get a lucky 1.2km+ snipe (that also involves an error on his part by not dodging my guns) even when I cut reversals to where I have zero room for error.
Both the BI and P-59A are so blatantly overpowered that they’re the only planes that I’ve ever seen random players coordinate together in chat to kill. Even when people don’t talk everyone usually tries to gang up on BIs because they know if they don’t it’ll destroy half of the team. I almost always see them casually fighting against 3 - 5 people since they can just pitch straight up and dictate the engagement. The only other planes I’ve ever seen able to single-handedly decide what team wins the match was the Gripen during the IRCCM meta and the F-15E somewhat before it had its engines nerfed. The difference is that those two aren’t overpowered still.
A quick look in protection analysis shows that the 1989 version of the B actually has worse armor
courtesy of it missing ERA on either side of its breach. While the regular one is identical in armor to the TURMS-T.
It’s crazy that this is only the 3rd worst take I’ve seen in this thread and the first 2 are from the same guy. My brother in christ learn how to counter radar missiles or don’t go high up at the start of the match. And tbh I’d rather have PL-5B/Magic 1s over a few of the all aspect missiles out there. You’re basically a SMT with a better loadout. You definitely don’t have a crappy FM.
Vehicle: SB2C helldiver(SB2C-1/3, SB2C-5(FR/JP))
BR changes: none
Other changes: received attacker spawn
Given how it is usually played as a fighter, the helldivers has impressive first-loop agility and compensates speed bleed with high spawn altitudes, allowing them to down bombers easily. To alieveate the issue of bombers being impossible to play at this BR, the helldivers could be moved down to attacker(CAS) spawns which allows them to still received a kill or two. At the end of the day they are bombers, not bomber-destroyers.
Vehicle: B7A2/B7A2 H23
BR changes: none
Other changes: frontline bomber spawn removed, received attacker spawn
The homare 23 is even better than the helldiver at engaging attackers, fighters or interceptors. The same reason applied here, the bombers already has to rush bases to contest with wyverns, making them easy targets for bomber spawn ryusei and helldivers.
Ho-ri br decrease anyone?
Like all Ho-Ri production has better than Jagtiger is engine power (only ho-ri production) and its almost br higher it really should go back to 7.0 at least or even 6.7 since Jagtiger is 6.7. While premium Ho-Ri prototype at 6.7 is just joke aggainst other heavy tank destroyers tbf. should be 6.0 at best since even Jagdpanther is way better.
Ho-ri prototype 6.7 br vs Jagtiger 6.7 br:
Good mobility+armor=amazing
It has above avrage mobility
And while dm13 is better its still has good shell that can pen all tanks with no issue with great spall
Rly great tank it is one of if not the best tank in 8.7 and it can go up with no issue
Preferrably these changes should be implemented together with removing the airspawn of wyverns. Either as an energy fighter or bomber, these things will make most players have a frustrating day, either getting shot down by it or unable to chase it in most fighters.
Most bombers with forward armaments are not particularly agile. Tu-2 is an exception and it may change, everyone else has only a handful of 50cals at most.
How do British, highlight, British bombers deal with them using .303s?
U compare top tier aps?
The fact ur immune to (yes immune) to atgms from the front is huge
Add the great armor good mobility and nice canon that can pen things with no issue and u got a monster in 8.7
Removing bomber spawn from torpedo/dive bomber like ryusei is absurd. Its never gonna happend since they would have to remove airspawn from every fighter bomber. Ryusei is not attacker. People in Helldivers, Avengers, Ryusei or stuff like that get kills because the enemy is bad and dont expect bombers to dive at them. Not because their planes are some wonder weapon. They are still heavy bricks and will lose in dogfight if you play correctly.
Helldivers are extremely stiff and they are dumb in roll. To attack a stirling Mk. III - a 4.7 bomber mind you, it is still more than adequate. They are only able to engage a few target before the energy runs out, but some of those targets are either completely incapable of retaliation or is poorly suited for it. Again, stirlings: four .303s on a side on or head on, zero defense for coming under.
