There needs to be another round of BR decompression for both Air and Ground.

In Air, many subsonic jets formerly in the 8.7-9.3 range were moved down during last April’s BR changes, and now totally outclass the vehicles around 7.3-8.3. Aircraft like the MiG-15bis or F-86F-30 should absolutely not be facing aircraft like the Meteor F.3 or Me 262 C.

While these late 1950s subsonic jets will struggle to fight supersonic aircraft and missile carriers, this means that aircraft that are outperforming them should move up, rather than moving these aircraft down to face easier opponents. In this situation, all aircraft starting around ~9.3+ (e.g. Yak-38, F-104) should be moved up in BR, and the total BR ceiling raised to 14.3 or even 14.7.

In Ground, there is a similar situation around the same BR. The transition from the end of WWII (around 7.0) into the 1960s (~8.3-8.7) happens far too rapidly, and this means that many vehicles with vast differences in capabilities (e.g. stabilizers, HEAT-FS, APDS) are forced to face each other in completely unfair engagements. A particularly bad example of this compression is the T-54 (1949) and Type 69, both of which are at 8.0, despite the latter having advantages in a stabilizer, laser rangefinder, and APFSDS. The Type 69 should not really face 9.3 or 9.7 vehicles, as it’s not that much better than the T-54, but it is ridiculous that they are at the same BR.

To resolve this, all tanks starting from around ~8.0/8.3+ (e.g. Type 69, T-55A, M60A1, Type 74(C)) should be raised in BR, and the total BR ceiling raise to 12.3 or 12.7.

If we are going by that standard, all the spaa with APDS should have another form of nerf. I propose all the Gepard like spaa go up in br as they are super dominate for spaa. They race across the battlefield to kill things. At least you have to have some semblance of skill for the 2s38

Revert ALL changes to the AMX-13 and Israeli tech tree vehicles.

The Sabra cannot stand alone, and the Merkava Mk.1/2 has no major BR changing advantages over other tanks of 9.3.

With all due respect, what substance(s) are you on to believe that the type 81 should be at the same BR as the ADATS?

The fact that it was higher than the Tunguska was already preposterous as is, but here we go …

Going to be great for Japan having to use a Type 93 at 11.3 now.

The Merkava series is NOT the best 9.3 and cannot survive at 9.7. That’s a horrible fucking take.

I think it should be asked the other wise, why the ADATS is in 11.7 the first place

Revert all changes in French’s AMX too

Its that time of the forum again no? When discussing a tank, one tends to focus only on downtiers when discussing what faces it and only on uptiers to its perspective. T-55AMD: wow such overpowered! Smashing (insert 7.7 tanks). It gets uptiered: noooo the (insert 10.0 tank) will clap it!

Just because it has 10km range doesn’t mean it can actually fire from such distance. Optics on this heli are bad, you can effectively fire from 5km at best, maybe 6km if you are lucky and have insane aim.

But then again, just because it can effectively fire and hit from such range doesn’t mean it will get to do so.

This heli is a brick, so spawning in 2nd helipad, getting close enough to fire and then coming back to reload isn’t an option. You wouldn’t get to fire more than once or twice in a battle, even with great crew.

So what usually happens is you spawn in on closest helipad which is 3-5km away from the battlefield. Thanks to that you don’t have to fly too far away and can fire comfortably, but you get hammered as soon as something like Gepard appears.

7.7 AAs can’t deal with it, i will admit that, but they aren’t really suposed to do that. A real and already effective enough counter to H-34 are planes. If you add even stronger AAs on top of that it will be unplyable

no spaag around this br can get you at 5km.

Except just as i’ve explained you will rarely actually fire from 5km. Closest helipad is usually around 3-4.something km away from battlefield. If you account for you moving to get a better view on the battlefield you get well into the range of AAs like Gepard or ZSU-23-4 which it already faces in most matches.

With 9.0 AAs there is no point in even trying to spawn it

Read the whole thing before replying

All 5.7 can kill AMX-M4, AMX-13… but not all 7.7-8.0 the AMX-13 can kill…

most helipads are further than 4 km from the enemy spawn…

there is a single 9.0 spaag in the game and it’s in your side

I can say with confidence that after 7000 hours and having the one thing I still enjoyed shattered like glass that I might actually uninstall. This is so fucking dumb.

Mode: Ground Arcade Battles

Vehicle: KV-7 (U-13)

Change: 4.3 → 4.0

Reasoning: The KV-7 is pretty much a worse KV-1E and suffers greatly in any kind of uptier above it’s current rank due to it’s very sub par weaponry, lack of mobility and inconsistent armour layout. Especially in Arcade battle even players who do not know it’s armour layout may use the penetration indicator to readily locate it’s many frontal weak points. Even uptiers to 4.7 are already quite catastrophic to it’s performance due to being unable to properly engage common threats due to a lack of penetration, while being unable to angle it’s armour as a KV-1E would.
Increasing it’s battle rating would completely kill it’s viability as a TD and turn it into what is functionally a worse StuG III G and at the same battle rating as the KV-1E/B while being worse in nearly every way.
While it may have a quite high winrate at it’s current BR, a significant factor in that is very likely to be the vehicles relative rarity, being an unbuyable event vehicle, leading to only the most dedicated and likely experienced players having access to it, thereby inflating the it’s statistics.
Killing a vehicle as unique as the KV-7 (U-13) would be a a great shame. Thereby decreasing the diversity of the game.

In conclusion, increasing the BR of the KV-7 (U-13) would put it at the same battle rating as vehicles superior in every way (KV-1E, StuG- III G) while putting it within a range of battle ratings during which the potency of weaponry increases very quickly. Disregarding the fact that uptiers to 5.3 would make the KV-7 (U-13) unplayable, any higher BR environment very quickly degrades it’s only redeeming qualities, making it dead weight for a lineup.

The KV series of tanks and heavy tanks in general are some of my favourite type of vehicle to play and I exclusively play arcade battles, enjoying even the Maus, and I believe that it would be a very bad idea to increase the BR of especially undergunned, inconsistently armoured heavily armoured vehicles, especially in arcade without considering the environment it would put them in, so please reconsider.
I can’t comment on realistic battles but I imagine the lack of an aiming assist in combination with bushes, would make the vehicle far more oppressive, hence I am only suggesting the change be reconsidered for arcade.
I would be very sad and I buy premium always and if all enjoyable things gets removed I would feel as though my premium time is wasted because I am not having fun.

I wouldn’t say the KV-7 is worse than the Kv-1E they’re both fine at 4.0 tbh

You wanna bet how many people will mention the merkava will smash(insert probably the worst 9.0 tank in game)? In all fairness it should get M426 once it gets to 10.0 then we can talk
Still id prefer the TTD over it for obvious reasons
