I would like the see the SU-22M3 go down .3 at least.
Even with the all aspect IR - it’s not very well placed. It lacks radar, has poor maneuverability (it’s like a really shitty MiG-23 but with the potential to fight the MiG-23 lol).
I’m not much got Russia but I don’t think it’s placed in a good area. Especially when it’s going up against the F-4S and MiG-23 fairly often.
Su-22M3 is indeed more of a 10.3 material, but then the problem goes to the Su-17M2, which has no flares and worse A2G weaponries, but if we move the Su-17M2 down to 10.0 there is the problem of comparing them to the MiG-23BN which is just one increment below it, and if we move the MiG-23BN down to 9.3 then what about G.91Y? Its more of a compression issue, but Id say the Su-22M3 isnt the best 10.7 too, at least as CAS.
Can we get at least some sort of explanation as to why our concerns regarding 2s38 and 292 are ignored as if the player base is completely OK with their current BR status.
Gaijin Devs, brake the silence from your side. This is just disrespectful at this point
It is fine it can do everything the cv90 can do while the cvs have better survivability and protection being frontally immune to 30mm and besides the crewless turret can be overpressured by HEAT-FS now
Again i dont really think placing the 292 in 10.7 is a good idea(10.3 should be more then fine). If it gets smoke launchers, then sure put it to 10.7, without it ? nah man.
the FB5 is only worse off with having something like 7-10% less engine power spaded then
as far as ive played the Vampire is the most painful aircraft to fly in the british tech tree (I have spaded all tech tree vehicles apart from the Buccaneer S.2B, Sea Harrier FRS.1(e) and Phantom FG.1) it really needs the BR decrease desperately, Preferably sooner rather than later, the Export ones can atleast hold their own, in my time spading it the Vampire FB5 was incapable of doing anything other than ground pounding in anything apart from a full downtier, even the A-5 Sabre and MiG-15 at 8.3 are significantly better
They tell you more about how a vehicle performs in actual gameplay than stats in a vacuum or subjective opinions. They’re also flawed because the playerbase isn’t homogenous, but I take that over people asking for their nation to get lower BRs and specific tanks they personally have trouble with to go up.
Again i guess the problem here is br depression. Its more like 10.5, depends on which map. The other soviet design, T-80B, offers limited improvement in terms of thermals, while being equally good or bad as of armor and mobility. Ofc reload but obj292 playets probably learned how to go around that.
T-80B also has smoke and suprisingly, just a coaxial MG to mark enemies can sometimes help alot. Biggest point is the much quicker reload with still more than enough pen and spall though.
Statistic does not mean anything really. Take the german 6.0 GRB lineup as a example. Tiger E is truly a masterpiece, but players cant use it well in most cases.
I said nothing of the sort. In fact, the exact opposite- the firefly is much more effective in the imperfect situations that happen in a real battle. If you look a the previous discussion, you’ll see that others were claiming that the 30% more power of the 17 pounder over the M1 was irrelevant because the M1 can penetrate almost anything it faces. This was incorrectly assuming that the enemy is nice, exposed, and front-on and not the real situation of battle where you don’t get those nice clean shots. Additionally, the idea that the weak spots of the hatches were a huge vulnerability- again, assuming that the Firefly is just sitting there taking hits. The Firefly excells in a tactical playstyle where it makes the most of its strengths, particularly the firepower of a 6.0 vehicle.
I think your second point can be summarized here. For the most part, little advantages like a short-stop stab or depression make a vehicle more convenient to use, though not actually better. Certainly not 1.0 better. In the end, the Firefly is at such a low BR because the players don’t have the skills to use it correctly yet, lowering its performance. But I believe that vehicles should be balanced on their true capabilities, not how well the perform in the hands of an inexperienced player.
On the 77mm, I said this-
Essentially, the C3 is just a super low BR for such a powerful cannon. The Comet, meanwhile, is only 5.3 with surprisingly good armour and the incredible APDS (which never shatters if aimed well…) plus exceptional forwards mobility. I personally have never really liked the Comet all that much, just because I find the flanking and sniping playstyle pretty boring. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a dam good vehicle.
