It literally is. There are only 4 slots for either team that can have a top BR player; which means the other 2 - 12 slots are 0.3 - 1BR lower.
Which means the most popular BRs get up-BR’d the most.
These changes are fine, and legacy Mig-15s are hilariously worse than the Mig-15Bis at 8.3.
lolno Trash take. F-4Js would also have to move to 11.0.
It will. They are now more likely to face those planes because there is now no more limit on how many Mig-15bis/later sabres that can be in a 7.7-8.7 match. They will now be able to face planes like the Mig-17 too.
These changes will make playing early jets a pain because you will now face more planes that outclass you.
That still doesn’t change the fact that Gaijin is just compressing the BRs even more, instead of doing actual decompression. They are just moving it somewhere else.
Just as a note on this, we are reviewing everything posted here feedback wise as we always have.
However in the next BR update we will also move to the system of 1 vehicle change / request per player comment so that we can better review the feedback, encourage people to upvote more with specific agreed points (its sometimes hard to upvote a comment when it contains a list of 10-20+ changes and you may only agree with one) and also allow us to better track agreed opinion.
This will encourage better collaboration, show greater forms of agreement and also be better to review the feedback in more detail as a whole.
They are creating compression by moving a large group of planes down in BR. There is now less space between an Me-262 and Mig-17 than there was before these changes. That is compression.
You can’t decompress without moving the top BR up. What gaijin is doing is creating more compression in one spot, and reducing it in another.
So just 1 vehicle per comment and then making 8 comments if i understand that correctly? I have been doing such more or less allready. Because of updooting.
it is even harder if you want to comment on an aircraft or Naval hardware if you have to scroll through hundreds of posts dealing with frontal armor, turret rotation speed or penetration values of a specific shell hitting a specific part of another tank…
I admit that some stuff is highly interesting, but a separation of comments in AIr/Ground/Naval would help all, especially if you change to one vehicle per comment…
Could you guys at least explain why much requested vehicles don’t get changed?
I requested the kugelblitz to go down to 6.7 in rb since a year and got many likes/hearts aswell and the stats on thunderskill don’t look good either. But now I gave up and didn’t even suggest that anymore.
This would settle some discussions and would be great for transparency
All feedback is taken into consideration when we review the response to the proposals and also further suggestions from the community. Any popular / hotly discussed requests are naturally also reviewed further, however if a vehicle is performing at the upper end of its efficiency at its given BR, unfortunately it cannot go down in BR as its already performing above the norm for its BR.
I think that’s the point that many in the community have an issue with, you rely too much on performance statistics, not looking at the actual capability of the vehicle itself.
I believe this is the main reason why high tier premium vehicles tend to be undertiered, because newer players buy them and perform poorly, skewing the performance statistics and leading to lower BR.
