the infinite wep? it still has it, no?
vehicles: XM1 (C) and (GM)
Change: given M774
Reason: to more adequately fight vehicle’s of higher ranks in uptiers and to replace the heavily diminished performance of M735 ammunition which used to perform at a similar level when these tanks were first sold. This returns the value to the players that bought them.
(nothing about the a6 lol)
CCIP+CCRP should at least be at 8.0

Vehicle: Hunter F.6 (UK)
Mode: Air RB
Change: 9.7 → no change
Reason: This aircraft does not have the speed, climb, or countermeasures to compete at a baseline BR of 10.0. In comparison to the Swiss F.58 at 10.0, this aircraft has, A) a weaker engine, B) no countermeasures. 2 extra SRAAM (good, but much shorter range than the AIM-9J on the F.58) is not enough to account for the BR raise which will make this unplayable.
Like what? I can’t think of anything that’ll fill the Ho-Ri gap (in terms of capability)
type 75 and type 99. both are very good TDs for the same br and arent fake
Vehicle: Harrier GR7
Modes: Air Arcade
Change: 13.0-12.3
Reason: this would place it as the same level as RB, a level at which the RB version is already underperforming, the current level of 13.0 means a sub sonic attack aircraft whose main plus point in air battle is 4 IRCCM missiles has to face multiple Fox 3 carrying aircraft with far higher munition loads, far better agility, far higher speeds, the GR7 at 13.0 in arcade has been a repeated aberration the last year or more of patch cycles.
Vehicle: Sea Vixen
Mode: Air Simulator
Change: 8.3 → 9.3
The sea vixen has both more and better missiles than nearly everything at a BR lower than 9.7, while also having a better flight model than anything at 8.3, with 9.3 being the point where it gets even somewhat close. It out-runs, out-accelerates, and out-turns everything it faces currently, making it functionally unkillable. At 9.3 it would still have one of the best flight models, but not by such an extreme degree as it does now.
Both AEC AA and Crusader AA Mk2, have undeniable quality in ability to “head on” many aircraft, which is something that pilots often like to do with SPAAs.
Not saying it is any great SPAA, especially not vs ground, but this property makes it uniquely useful and effective as pure SPAA.
Vehicle: Sea Vixen FAW.2
Mode: Air RB
Change: No change, but move to Rank VI
Reason: BR is comparable to other Rank VI premium aircraft.
Vehicle: Mirage F1C
Mode: Air RB
Change: 12.0 → 11.3, remove Magic 2
Reason: This would help differentiate the F1C from the F1CT and would represent an earlier-service variant before debut of the Magic 2.
honestly pathetic how far you need to go to defend your little undertiered plane to say its the same effectiveness as the a6 and constantly making baseless assumptions lmao. and try typing faster this is taking too long…
What kind of efficiency are we talking about here? Gaijin moved the F-104s up because they were considered efficient for grinding and making Silver Lions. Is that the same reasoning here?
If it is, that’s not a good justification for increasing an aircraft’s battle rating. The F-4J(UK) has struggled ever since it was added in 2022, and the FGR.2 is simply outdated at this point. In their current state, there’s very little reason for anyone to play them.
So far, I’ve only come across one person who opposed giving these aircraft AIM-9Ls, and their argument was very similar to yours. We’ve spent a lot of time discussing the aircraft’s performance and the impact of AIM-9Ls, and the general consensus has been that they’d be a modest quality of life improvement rather than a game changing buff.
What I’m not getting is a clear explanation beyond, “Well, they’d be more effective.”
Yeah, that’s the whole point. They wouldn’t suddenly become overpowered; they just wouldn’t feel completely obsolete anymore.
Is this another F-104 situation, where the battle rating is being increased because people use the aircraft to bomb bases and earn a lot of Silver Lions? If that’s the reasoning, I don’t think it’s a valid justification for raising the BR of aircraft that are already underperforming.
They don’t fill the capability whatsoever.
Tiger 2 and IS-2 1944 at 6.3 down tiers is going to curb stomp new players and 75mm shermans
Vehicle: F-100F
Mode: Air RB
Change: 9.3 → 9.7, add AIM-9J/P
Reason: This aircraft was initially added without historical AIM-9J/P for balance reasons. The newly added F-6C shows that a modest BR bump can compensate for adding better Fox 2s to a flareless 9.3 airframe.
In general, can you PLS split up 9.0-10.3 air? Currently the flare+high g missile+supersonic just demolishes any 9.3 plane. It’s extremely unfair and they should be 10.7 like they used to. The f5c was moved to 10.7 so it makes no sense these aren’t too.
Agreed, Stug 3 was one of my favorite vehicles in WoT and one of the few vehicles that feel very similar to play in both games. Looking forward to use it more now that it will be eligible to use for events/BP.
