A6M5 to 6.0 is just more proof than your current balance system by SL earnin is stupid
Most japanese BR adjustments are just not correct
But there are so sim nerfs and buff I’d like to see in RB too!
I talk about
B-57 /canberras
Yak-3U /Vk-107
P-59
F-82E
Yak-3(e)
Me-163 B-0
Also incredible BR adjustments on
Ju-288C
B-239 (newbies will have a break for once)
WM-23
mig-3-34
M.B.157
B7A2 (homare 23)
Ju-388 J
Su-6 (M-71F)
S.O.8000
But there is some work to do as always, specially on japanese and Italian overBRs, but most nations are left somewhat corrected, very well adjusted for current cannon damage.
Vehicle: S.O.4050 Vautour IIN Gamemode: Ground Realistic Battles BR Change: 8.3 → 9.0 Reason: There isn’t a single SPAA below 9.0 that can fight this thing and somehow you guys are moving it down in GRB BR? What? If you guys play Squadron battle for the current season, the S.O.4050 Vautour IIN is absolutely shitting on every SPAA and is just wiping the ground target, not even fair. The only SPAA that stand any chance is the Chinese 8.0 SPAA (WZ305) with its proxy shells but even then, the only thing it can do is intercept the incoming NORDS missiles, 0 chance for it to kill the S.O.4050 Vautour IIN if the pilot is not dumb. It makes 0 sense as to why S.O.4050 Vautour IIN is moving down in BR.
Would a real Ho-Ri be something that’s planned in the future then?
Maybe with a bit of a historical background devblog / news post to clear up any myths around it and the old versions. War Thunder is at a point where it’s so popular a not insignificant number of people take their historical information from it, and I think having the real Ho-Ri is very important to prevent it from being falsely branded as the “fake wooden mockup tank”.
Vehicle: Achilles IIC [and Achilles IIC (65 Rg.)]
Gamemode: GAB 3.7, GRB 3.3, GSB 3.3
Suggestion:
BR 3.3-3.7 > 4.0
Add 17 pdr APDS
Rank II > Rank III
Reload 6.9s > 5.9-4.7s
Reason: Achilles received APDS in Autumn 1944, and was used until the end of WW2. The platform is somewhat unique to the UK TT (could also be added for NL), and can be moved without affecting other nations. The vehicle has decent mobility but is inherently limited by its very slow turret traverse, which allows BR to be kept low despite the high-performance gun.
The planned change to the M44 series will widen the M44/Avenger BR gap to 3.7-4.7 (or potentially 3.7-5.0 if Avenger was given APDS), so moving Achilles IIC to 4.0 would mitigate the change. The UK could receive an Achilles I (M10 GMC) at 3.3 to replace it. Changing Achilles IIC’s Rank from II to III would also allow relatively historical progression through these two vehicles (always nice to see).
M44 would be either in between or foldered.
Achilles IIC’s 6.9s reload is also excessive considering that it’s an open-top TD with plenty of crew space, and should match or be placed between the reloads of other 17pdr-armed vehicles such as the Sherman Firefly (5.9s) or Archer (4.7s).
Increasing the BR of the Achilles (65 Rg.) would allow you to charge more GE for it.
Not even close? Probably never played either Type 90 or TKX(P). TKX is vastly better and is arguably already overtired. It has gen 3 thermals, lower profiler, better gun handling, better optics and is more survivable.
It is the same as the regular BMP-2 and have same BR, however it doesn’t have any ATGM, so it is stuck with 72mm of pen with its main cannon as its only weapon. This means that there is a lot of tanks that it is not able to engage at all.
16 unreliable, slow, low penetrating missiles that get outmatched by the akd-10. the z10 is going to be the same br with a gun and much better missiles how does that make any sense
M55 just needs to make the cannon have a pen difference of more than 1 mm, since it makes no difference currently and will be stopped by the same armor as the M44
