Planned Battle Rating Changes (August 2026)

if thats true why are they removing it

The Ho-Ri we have is not the one that was actually built.

That was also in Czechoslovakia? I have a few pictures saved of those, would make for a very funny addition. Maybe as an event vehicle.

A ton of prototypes and modifications got stuck in Czechoslovakia, there are mentions of Anti-Air 2cm Panthers, weird AMR 35 with mortar, etc. . .

Do we know what the one that was built looks like? I’d love to see it added

It has a suggestion here on the forum. Just look up Ho-Ri II

Edit: Here

Also, slop doesn’t really fit any of the removed vehicles. The Panther II and the Tiger II 105 are examples of less than thorough alternate history (Gaijin asked a solid what if but the follow up and implementation was subpar). The Coelian is basically alright other than being on the wrong Panther chassis. On the Ho Ris they were actually misled by Mai which resulted in the implementation we have today. None of these vehicles took zero effort to put together, which is what slop refers to - sameness, mediocrity, laziness. If I were to name slop vehicles in WT I would have other candidates…

is there proof that it actually existed ? as in pictures etc

The F-16AJ is something I’d call slop

These removed German tanks, the R2Ys and the Ho-Ris definitely are not slop

Complete prototype that is fully confirmable as built with photos or get out.

Ah, I had seen that but didn’t realize work had progressed beyond just the gun. That’s really cool. Hopefully it can take its place in the Japanese tech tree, but I don’t think based on the specs given that it would slot in at 7.3. That’s not an issue to me but it is a shame that there will only be the Type 99(?) howitzer there now.

It certainly won’t be 7.3, but then so should the Ho-Ri never have even been there in the first place (Gaijin was misled by the person giving them the documentation)

5.3-6.0 would be about where it’d go.

And yes, Japan now only has the Type 99 SPH left at 7.3, well besides the M47 but that isn’t a unique vehicle.

Unfortunately some nations were defeated and destroyed many documents, photos, and the vehicles themselves; or had the winners do it to them. So we do not have photos of many, like Ki-44-III, despite evidence it existed (in this one’s case, by interviewing its engineers).

It would most likely be around 6.0, assuming a fair BR. That’s where the current Ho-Ri Prototype should be.

I used to be harsher on them, but information on the Ho-Ri was just near nonexistent back then and getting the wrong idea was easy. Now we know a lot more. I wouldn’t hold any ill feelings towards Mai-Waffentrager.

too bad. not verifyable = not valid

TAS 44M my beloved that we’ll probably never see…

Not how it works. And not how it should work either. That severely undermines the hard effort of a lot of very crafty people who undoubtedly put a lot into getting these vehicles created.

Vehicle: Fw 190 A-4 + FW-190 A-5 family

Spoiler

(Fw 190 A-5/U2, Fw 190 A-5, Fw 190 A-5/U12, Fw 190 A-5, Fw 190 A-5/U14, Fw 190 A-5 (Japan))

A-4A-5/U2A-5A-5/U12A-5/U14A-5 Japan
Mode: Air Realistic Battles

BR revision: -0.3 BR steps (will result in 3.7 and 4.0 placements)

Reason: most recent nerf to the flap deploy speed has crippled the ability of these aircraft to control engagements, with only above average top speed as only last effort.
The 190s of 4.0 and 4.3 already were clawing to keep their BRs, the last nerf to the flaps hit really hard, since flaps are the tool all 190’s and even their succesors like the Ta-152s use to ratefight and reliably pull for shots, which mg151/20 requires more lead compared to other 20mm cannons.

How is it not verifiable? We have quite accurate descriptions of what it looked like, what was changed from previous models, and some performance figures.

And why would they lie about any of it? They lost the war years ago. That plane was deemed obsolete since Ki-84 was also in development.

Multi-vehicle posts are not allowed unfortunately. Last time I did that I was told even the very similar R2Y2s required one post per vehicle, per gamemode.
