320 Large flares / Standard chaff vs the 320 Micro CMs its got now (assuming you are running just 2 and not the full 4) is nothing to scoff at, especially in a BR range where decent CM count is rather useful to have.

Reason: This plane has comparable performance to most 4.3 ground spawn fighters, which means that if it were to move to 5.3 it would be completely outclassed in every metric even with its interceptor spawn. Furthermore, the recent addition of airspawn to a lot of prop maps reduces the value of airspawn as whole, so there is even less reason why this plane should be so high in br solely because of its airspawn.
F14A and the harrier are as hot as the sun meanwhile the F5 is colder than the F117 while the F5 has its burner on and every heli is also colder than the F117 this games heat sigs are GARBAGE!!!
I would say the f15a radar is a sidegrade at best. Shorter range (not really a big deal on the small arb maps tho), no tws, smaller scan angle, and no non-pd mode. The f14 radar gets tws, has better range, and it gets a non pd mode so it can at least try to track someone in a notch. But in exchange, its pd mode is hdn only so it wont see them if they are not coming at you
It was fine when it was just Aim-9Bs and flares werent added yet (its actually kinda a clever bodge job when talking about quite basic IR seekers) but its dumb it never got fixed when they started adding more advanced rear-aspects, let alone all-aspects, IRCCM or even “IIRs”

The thing about IIR missiles in game is that their seeker isnt even modeled to be IIR. Gaijin just gave them a combination of seeker shutoff irccm and gatewidth irccm, instead of just one or the other.
If you have RWR and or a targetting pod then it’s not too hard. 8.3s and 8.7s, however do not get those. Even most 9.3s-9.7s don’t.
1980s SAMs should primarily be facing 10.0-10.7 aircraft, and only 9.3-9.7 in max downtiers.

PD is the mode youll use most often the NON PD mode can get 1 chaffed and the f14 and F15 have basically same range due to map size while the F15 has 12mile ACM while F14 has a 6 and the F14 is way easier to notch
the only advantage the F14 has is TWS which only works with AIM-54s which are doo doo
Which wasnt a surprise. all-aspects dont even have their flare resistance let alone IRCCM.
So I was fully expecting IIR to just be IRCCM+, which it turned out to be.
best place to fight it honestly way easier to flank on city maps and way easier to team
8.3s and 8.7s dont face the radar guided sams though. Only manpads/early ir sams/. And all it takes to avoid those is just an ounce of situational awareness since they are trivial to dodge. So like I said, they are fine at their current BR
Please add 9Ms to the F-14B at 13.0 it needs better IR missiles and the MiG-29 at 13.0 just received R73s

They face IRCCM SAMs, which they really shouldn’t.
Fully stablised gun with frontal armour that’s immune to .50 cals and maintains speed better. It a completely superior vehicle. It used to be 7.7, however it was completely broken so it was moved to 8.0, then to 8.3 and now it sits at 8.7 where its finally balanced. The fully stabilised gun and extremely good speed with more ammo meant that it has infinitely better staying power, as well as decent survivability to HMGs. And I forgot that the Wiesel doesn’t have a full 360 degree rotation, its limited to like 200 degrees of horizontal traverse.
I can see this going down to MAYBE 9.3. the Slopmaster 30 isn’t a good gun but it should also not be facing 7.7 vehicles. Couple that with its decent speed.
Uh no, 9.7 and subsequently 8.7 tanks should NOT be facing AGM-65s, AGM-62s and GBU-8s.
Remove the IR Guided AGM-65D and you will have a point.
Just, no. I can’t comment on the A6E, but the Su-25 and A-10 can stay where they are. 9.3 and 9.0 aircraft do NOT and I repeat, DO NOT need to be facing Aim-9Ls and R-60Ms, its already a pain in the ass to face them at 9.7.
Remove the Aim-9Ms, the AGM-65Ds, AGM-65Gs, GBU-39s and GBU-62s and you can make an argument.
F3H2 can get Aim-7D if it moved up to 10.0. No 8.0 in this game should ever have to face a 15G Fox-1 that’s harder to dodge than the Aim-7C.
F-4C can keep its missiles otherwise it has go up in BR. No 9.0 in this game should face 20G Fox-1s.
F-4E can keep its missiles and BR. Aim-7Fs should not be going lower than 12.0.
F-4J/S can get the 9L upgrade but the F-4S would need to go up in BR because it has an HMD. Aim-7Fs are perfectly serviceable at 12.0.

If there’s an F-18 that could get its 6xAim120s and go to 13.3 it’d be the Swiss F-18 in the German air tree, its the best of the Premium Hornets because it simply just has the better engines.
There’s reasons why things have moved or are at the BRs they are now, and for aircraft its based on their weaponry for the most part. Gaijin moving the F-15s down to 12.7 but NOT removing their IRCCM missiles was the biggest of screwup they’ve done in a while with that bracket and thats purely because their greedy asses do not want to move the Premium Su-30s up to 13.7.
Those IRCCM sams are all manpads, and they are trivially easy to dodge, so they are fine at their current BR. Its like how early flareless planes can fight aim9bs and r3s. You may not be able to flare them, but you can just dodge them super easily as long as you dont get super slow.
Both the VDM and the serie 0 have worse flight performance than a LF mk.9 in ALL aspect except for maximum pull.
The VDM works nice at 6.0, but the serie 0 does not.
The Serie 0 should go 5.7. It turns good, but because of the bad climb rate and overall energy generation combined with early compression it does not belong to any tier where it faces jets.
