The aircraft is worse than its competitors in terms of combat rating. Fewer rockets than most competitors. The maneuverability is worse than that of competitors. An RWR that does not show the type of target. After all, this is a third-generation aircraft with a new engine installed.
The F/A-18A, which has more missiles, better maneuverability, better radar and RWR is at 12.3.
All early fourth-generation US aircraft are already on 12.3 (F-14, F-16, F/a-18). And the red team doesn’t have any.
27-ER does not pose a threat when the enemy has a RWR indicating the type of target. Don’t forget that the MIG-29 is an airplane with a disgusting flight model, a bad radar and the worst RWR at the level.
105mm cannon at 3.0 with a 240mm pen heat shell (ignore the slow reload unreliable pen of the heat shells, reload, mobility and armor. Also the 63mm pen starting round.
Marder III H being 3.0 while the Na-To is 3.3 is certainly something. The Na-To gets a better sight, and the rounds are faster with better post-pen, but its worse in every other regard.
A better question is why would you want to play the worst TDs known to man at a higher BR than they should be?
Seriously nobody plays them because they are insanely niche and unfun compared to other nations
Like I genuinely mean this but I would rather play Italian TDs and Japanese TD’s at their own BR or higher than the 4.0 swedish ones (aside from the PVKV II)
Reason: Great air to ground abilities, with 2 single drop 1000lb bombs, and 4x 20mm cannons and 4x 50cal, great for strafing light tanks or unfortunate aircraft. While still being somewhat able to manoeuvre for a 2 engine attacker.
“Finnish” and technically it also has domestic AP rounds but gaijin hasn’t added them given the values aren’t publicly known or at least I don’t know them.
Could bolster it but still not worthy of a higher BR
Agreed. A T-34 (1941) with all Finnish ammunition options would be 4.3 by the standards of Jarm’s proposed rework. But until they correct it, it probably doesn’t’ need to go up.
Will you also include the T-34E to 4.7 for USSR? it’s better than the standard T-34 which you want moved to 4.3 might as well move this to 4.7, other wise if not I suggest adding Finnish T-50 down to 2.7 where it has a lineup if we continue with keeping upgraded Soviet vehicles at the same BR as their standard counterparts
i remember brining it up to 7.0-8.3ish so that i could spade it off of light tanks instead of aircraft due to the poor combination of low velocity and low fire rate mixed with small mags
