J-7D is highly oppressive at its tier with almost MiG-21bis levels of flight performance and 4x PL-5B. As it stands now, strong flareless vehicles like Mirage IIIC and F-1 are 10.0 with no flexibility to move up due to 10.7s (and to a lesser extent 10.3s) with strong missiles and ability to always get a launch angle for guaranteed kill, which J-7D is the worst offender by far. J-7D needs to move up otherwise the entire range from 9.3 to 10.7 will never see true decompression.
Do a quick search first brother. Even if you want to add more opinions/context, quote or reply to the first post that already agrees with your statement. That way the first reply gets a bunch of attached replies, showing even more support along with all the likes it already has.
Adding duplicates to these BR threads over and over and over again dilutes everything, and just makes the odds of the change happening less likely. Especially if you don’t search and leave a like on the first one. It is a waste of everyone’s time. The Devs are never going to see the duplicates; the only post that matters is the first one that suggests a specific change.

Then, it only has Gen 2 thermals, with weak zoom. The JaPz.K A2 | War Thunder Wiki has Gen 3 thermals and it is at the same BR. The CV 90105 TML | War Thunder Wiki is not abnormal for having thermals at that BR, it is a light tank. MBT’s having thermals that low is a different story.

The Advanced 90105 has a 10.3 rating, and almost all of the 8.7 models are manually loaded. Thermal imaging is devastating for the 8.7 models, and you will have the highest search efficiency

It is not even doing well stat wise. Its Win Rate, K/S and K/D are mediocre. It is absolutely fine where it is.

as well as have the A-7s swap places with the A-10A, yes it can carry gun pods but that just makes your defensive situation worse
as it is a step up from the A-7D in the form of air to air missiles, it still has the issues mentioned with the A-7Ds post, but with only 5 or 6 (if you take the flir pod)TV guided bombs max

I would also add/suggest moving ALL of the A-7’s down a BR step or two in Arcade. They are so slow compared to everything else in the game nowadays, even with Arcade speed/handling boosts.

But its thermal imaging is absolutely OP at 8.7,DM23 is also the most balanced ammunition in the 8.7-9.0 range, so there is no problem in upgrading the TML with thermal imaging to 9.0
4 high G IR missiles + flares + supersonic is solidly 10.3 material. At 10.0 it’ll be a peer to the Mirage IIIC, F-4C, and J35D, all supersonics with decent missiles but ZERO flares.

Vehicle: CT-CV 105 HP Gamemode: Ground Realistic BR Change: 10.0 —> 9.7 Reason: MGS with very large and squishy hull and an ammorack in the turret which makes it a very easy target for everything with an autocannon. Also a very bad maneuverability and acceleration.
Pretty much the idea is to move all 105mm MGS vehicles with no armor and 420mm pen down one step. We have a plenty of MGSs like that at 9.7 and below and all those vehicles barely differ. WMA 301/Type 16 (which is superior to all vehicles listed above due to having armor against autocannons) prove that those vehicles won’t be overpowered at lower BR. The vehicles I have pointed out also are the event ones. They are exist on a very small amount of accounts and thus are forgotten. These changes won’t cause any disruption to the gameplay since the vehicles aren’t played a lot.

Reason: It’s literally the WORST performing aircraft in 14.7 AND 14.3.
Even if you put it at 14.0, it would still not be oppressive compared to the other mechanical radar planes due to it’s noticeable disadvantage of poor defenses (only 48 countermeasures).
Compared to the other 14.0 planes, while it would have the best radar (AESA) and above average amount of missiles, it comes at the tradeoff of having an average flight performance and worst amount of countermeasures.
