Planned Battle Rating Changes (April 2026)

Don’t think it’s very reasonable to move the Zeros and Spitfire Mk24 up. These planes are already underpowered and it’s only because people keep turning with them that they get any kills. A Zero has no businessfighting early jets.

Vehicle: F-4F Early
Mode: Air SB
Change: 10.7 → 10.3

Reason: it is the same BR as the normal F-4F which has Flares/Chaff (and AGM-65) unlike the Early which has neither of both…

Or

Plan B:

Add the AIM-9L to the F-4F (which has CMs) and push it to 11.0

Ground RB: 2.7 > 2.0
Ground AB: 2.7 > 2.0
Ground SB: 2.7 > 2.0

(Remove APDS Round)

The Strv m/41 S-I was the first version of the tank made in Sweden, later an upgraded version was developed. Compared with the original Czech version, the Strv m/41 model had minor differences in appearance, the most noticeable modification is the addition of a periscope above the loader seat on the top of the turret. Once production started, the tank was quickly delivered between 1942 and 1943 and operated with the Third Armored Regiment.

As this is the previous version to the improved Strv m/41 S-II with worse side armour, it should differate from the Strv m/41 S-II. So it should have its APDS removed and be moved to 2.0 instead of 2.7.

Would give this tank more variety aswell as increase its effectiveness for the new BR while not having the APDS round making it overkill in all aspects.

Wiesel 1a2 from 9.7 to 9.0. The Wiesel takes 10 sec to reload 1 round and that round can be shot out making it very hard to get kills at distance or just in general and you can get killed by .50cals and it has no secondary weapon (like bmp3 9.3 or bmp 4 9.7). AFT09 is 9.0 with 4 missiles ready to shoot has 400mm more pen but .38 less explosive.

(Remove APDS Round)

The Strv m/31, also known as Landsverk L-10, was designed and built by AB Landsverk during the interwar period.

The tank was not in-service when the “37/24 mm skarp patron m/34 spårljuspansarprojektil m/1949” was invented in 1949

Whilst I do agree, this is clearly meant to be a generalistic BR decompression rather then a genuine belief the Zeros are too good for 5.0 in any other way.

That being said, I would have loved to see an early-jet age decompression at the same time too.

do people even use the APDS shell on that tank? when i played low tier sweden, all i used was APHE and i’d automatically win

People who are new to the game usually see higher pen = better

But that doesent really matter when the tank was made 15-18 years, and stopped being in frontline service 10 years before the APDS was made

Des Moines and Newport News are perhaps the most glaring examples of ships being an oppressive menace in a downtier and cannon fodder when uptiered.

If all cruiser gun penetration values wouldn’t have been nerfed, Des Moines’ current BR placement would be arguably justifiable, as she used to be able to reliably pen most of the BBs she now regularly faces. That is of course no longer the case.

On the other hand, that same nerf makes it harder than it used to be for a number of Des Moines’ traditional light cruiser opponents to take advantage of her glaring weakspot that makes her such a glass cannon.

Back in the good old days of reduced presence of competitive BBs around BR 6.0, battles tended to be decided by the number/skill of any Des Moines operators present in each team. While I personally enjoyed this scenario a lot, I don’t think many CL operators would like to see a repeat of it.

Well this breaks multiple lineups for me. Surprisingly it doesn’t break the one with the BMPT in it as I have been using that in a 12.0 line up.

The Sufa BR change was a long time coming. It is very welcome.

Ground RB: 5.3 > 5.7

(Give it the scouting ability and APHE-CBC) (Bug report)

The vehicle has excellent speed and can resist small-arms fire, including some 12.7mm rounds from certain angles. However, its 20mm cannon is highly ineffective, struggling against anything with more than ~10mm of armor, despite the theoretical penetration of its HVAP rounds.

This severely limits its ability to engage ground targets at its BR. Combined with the lack of scouting ability, it ends up being far less useful than comparable vehicles, making it over-tiered in its current state But giving it access to APHEI (PSA) and APHEI-T (PLA). Would make it justified to be at the same BR as a SPAA/Light tank to the Strv 74.

The round has the same Explosive filler as the L3/33 CC, in a 45-55mm pen chell

Soviet RB Ground BR’s:

- SU-122: 2.7 up to 3.0. This with the M4A3 105 & StuH 42 G are like the holy trinity of seal clubbing. While the SU-122 is probably the fairer of the three it should still go up.

Hello!

Regarding those BR changes, I’m still waiting for a forward air spawn location for the subsonic all aspects slingers around 10.0 / 11.3. As far as I remember something was to be done following an planned BR change about 1 year ago. Before giving airspawn to everyone. But the subsonic all aspects slingers didn’t get their advantage to let them arrive into the central battle earlier. This means they are still un the defensive from high altitude supersonic fighters even before reaching the ground targets. In the meantime, they are a menace to flareless fighters and or a menace whatsoever for the ones with IRCCM missiles.

I really believe giving them an advanced airspawn and a 0.3 or 0.7 BR increase would allow them to get to ground targets at the same time than fighters. This would give them more chances to be useful, while their missiles, more risks also against lock down Fox1. This would also make the 1st engagement a head on against supersonic fighters so they would stand more chances than being a sitting duck close to the ground. And this would also get them into matches where their powerful missiles won’t be 3 grades better than what everyone else is using.

Yet the 104S being at the same BR as the F-4E is somehow… balans
It’d be the same as if they gave the F-4C its IRCM pod, 7Ms and 9Xs and moved it up to 12.3

Mirage 2000 D RMV
ARB
Lower its BR to the same level as the early 2000 D. It has 2 good missiles, and a bunch of guided + dumb bombs. But its usefulness in ARB isn’t defined by guided bombs. It’s not more effective than a 2000 D early, so why is it higher in BR?

I will try to translate for us normal folks:
