It’s a better IPM1 which is already better than every other 11.7 tank I can think of including the Type 90.

Plus Su-17M4 is suffering from the fact of BR compression, not lack of weaponry imo.

The Abrams is A LOT better than the T-80’s, the 2A4M, MBT-2K etc. You’re genuinely out of your mind to suggest it isn’t. Have you actually played the tank? You get an amazing gun, great mobility, great driving model, good enough and fairly trolly survivability with sideskirts that are strong against APDS. The only tank in the entire game that may be better than the M1A2 is the Leopard 2A7V/Strv 122.

If anything, the 11.7 M1A1 is BETTER than all of the 12.7 Leclercs but the average player is not ready to have that conversation yet.

Have you ever actually played the 12.7 Abrams, or are you just assuming things because you got killed by one? The only real upgrade you get at 12.0 is better thermals. Calling its “good enough survivability” a joke is an understatement. It has one huge weak spot — the turret ring — and anything that hits( fun fact bmpt can this too) it disables you for 30+ seconds while you repair.
The issue is not the 12.7 one being 12.7, it’s the 12.0 one being 12.0
The 12.0 Abrams is literally better than a large portion of 12.7 tanks.

…So does every other tank like ever? I’ve never had any complaints about survivability in the IPM1 even while fighting hordes of BMPT’s. If anything, your side is immune to them for a few seconds due to the sideskirts which saved me loads.
More importantly, why would you rely on armour in any tank? The Abrams has strong turret cheeks which is all you really need armour wise. The fuel tanks give the hull trolly survivability as well so it can punish poorly placed shots. This tank has exceptional gun handling, the best gun angles, second best shell and arguably the best mobility at top tier. You’re doing something terribly wrong if you’re struggling with any Abrams. Please tell me how in any universe combining best in class mobility with best in class firepower and decent survivability results in a tank that is worthy of 12.0

Two AIM-9L missiles is too strong, especially considering that the closest equivalent, the Japanese F-5C, sits at 11.7.
Meanwhile, at 11.3 there’s the F-5E, which is worse than the Swedish F-5A in almost every way

Honestly, it’s trash that has to fight stabilized vehicles, proper shells, laser rangefinders, and ERA.
Yes, people will say: “Just use its speed,” but at this BR range there are vehicles like the Fox, XM800T, and RCV, which are far better — not only in speed but also in firepower.
Also, comparable vehicles like the WZ141-1, which is also quite fast, sit at 6.7 and perform much better thanks to tracks instead of wheels.
