  • Give an airspawn to the F-84F Thunderstreak in non-US tech trees.

Reasoning: The F-84F Thunderstreak at 8.3 is not comparable to other 8.3 aircraft such as the F-86F Sabre and MiG-15bis, as it has worse maneuverability, acceleration, and energy retention.

Since aircraft like the B-52H Stratofortress and Tu-95 at Rank VI are exceptions that receive airspawns while other attackers and bombers do not, the same exception should be applied to F-84Fs in non-US tech trees. This would bring a fairer situation, as the F-84F in the US tree sits at a lower rank and is currently the only variant in the family with access to an airspawn.

As it stands, it is inconsistent that only one F-84F variant benefits from this mechanic while others at a higher rank do not.

Aircraft: Su-30MKK
Mode: Air Realistic Battles
BR Change: 13.3 → 13.7

The Su-30MKK has a vastly better weapons kit than anything else at 13.3, and it doesn’t have a weak FM, or a particularly weak radar, or really any other downside to justify having such a strong kit at such a low BR. The weaponry would be strong at 13.7 and there is not really any reason for it to not be placed at that BR. Sure, it is a downgrade over the 13.7 Su-27SM, but the difference in capability between the Su-30MKK and the Su-27SM is much smaller than the difference between the Su-30MKK and the MiG-29SMT.

The weaponry would be strong at 13.7 and there is not really any reason for it to not be placed at that BR. B7A2 (Homare 23)

  • Air Realistic Battles: 3.74.0

Reasoning: Compared to the standard B7A2, this variant offers superior high-altitude engine performance, allowing it to effectively dogfight against capable fighters at nearly all altitudes.

From personal experience in Air RB, it performs exceptionally well with an airspawn, giving it a strong and often uncontested energy advantage. When used properly, it can dominate matches due to its impressive flight performance, enabling it to oppress and compete with aircraft such as the Bf 109 F-4 and XP-50.

I do not think it is fair for the B7A2 (Homare 23) to remain at the same 3.7 BR as the standard B7A2 and SB2C Helldiver variants, given that the Homare 23 version demonstrates clearly superior performance compared to similar dive bombers.

Aircraft: J-11A
Mode: Air Realistic Battles
BR Change: 13.3 → 13.7

The J-11A has a vastly better weapons kit than anything else at 13.3, whilst also having a very strong FM after the flanker buff. The avionics are a little weaker than what is typically found at 13.7, but the weaponry and FM would very strong at 13.7. Sure, it is a downgrade over the 13.7 J-11B, but the J-11B is also undertiered, and the difference in capability between the J-11A and J-11B is vastly smaller than that between the MiG-29SMT and the J-11A. The J-11A is a sidegrade over the Su-30MKK/Su-30MK2 AMV, having a much better FM but worse avionics, and I think I have made it clear that the aforementioned vehicles are undertiered.

Aircraft: Su-27/J-11
Mode: Air Realistic Battles
BR Change: 13.0 → 13.3

These vehicles (which are essentially identical - the J-11 being marginally heavier) have always been extremely strong. Upon release, their radar and weapons kit was absolutely unparalleled: The R-27ER is so much stronger than any other SARH missile that it is often considered equal in performance to earlier ARH missiles, and it can carry six of them, whilst it’s main contemporaries at the time were weilding 2 or 4 SARH missiles. Back then, this was (somewhat) justifiable by the fact that the Su-27 had a fairly poor flight-model, but that is not the case anymore. The Su-27 FM was heavily buffed recently and it is now one of the strongest FMs at 13.0 whilst also having one of the strongest weapons kits at 13.0. They are a straight upgrade, and a significant one, over the MiG-29G and MiG-29 (9-13) at the exact same BR. They need to go up.

BR Change: 9.0 → 8.7/8.3 (ARB)
Reason: : Vehicle has no countermeasures, no radar turret, and is absolutely outclassed by every vehicle at it’s current BR.

Please consider making it more useful after the B-52 has been added by moving it to a more equal footing.

Aircraft: MiG-29 (9-12) (DE/RU/HU)
Mode: Air Realistic Battles
BR Change: 12.7 → 12.3 and removal of R-27ER.

These MiG-29 (9-12) FM is not what it once was, and while it is still very fast, with very good energy generation, the manoeuvrability is lacking and the fuel burn is abysmal. The FM is much worse than that of the F-16A Block 10 which is at 12.3. These vehicles feel like they are only at 12.7 because of the 2 R-27ERs. The performance of this missile overshadows the performance of the plane itself, and it isn’t fair for these models to be at a BR which they shouldn’t be at because they carry two extremely potent missiles. Remove the R-27ERs (and keep the R-27Rs) and move the early MiG-29s to 12.3 along with the F-16A Block 10s once again.

Aircraft: Tornado GR.4/IDS SLE
Mode: Air Realistic Battles
BR Change: 12.3 → 12.0

The Tornados are all completely overtiered in ARB. The Manoeuvrability is atrocious, being worse than nearly everything at the BR apart from F-104s. The acceleration/energy generation is subpar, the ergonomics are bad, the fuel burn is bad, and the speed is not enough to justify this. With such a terrible FM, you would expect the weapons loadout to be excellent (like it is with the Tornado F.3/ADV, which are at a lower BR), but it only gets 2 IR missiles. Sure, they are AIM-9Ms, but it is still not good enough. The Mirage F1Cs have 2 IRCCM IR missiles, and a better flightmodel, at 12.0.

I’d also propose giving it an airspawn since they allow B-52H and Tu-95M to airspawn while being at the same Rank VI. B-66B is subsonic like those.

Aircraft: Kurnass 2000

The Kurnass 2000 only takes 6 Python 3 missiles. These are non-IRCCM IR missiles, and in that category they are very strong, but at 12.3, without IRCCM, they are not particularly great anymore. A few years ago, when the playerbase was less aware about flares and chaff, and the multipath height was higher, the kit of this thing was pretty good, but it isn’t anymore. Consider the Netz and Netz Mod. These have absolutely excellent FMs, being some of the best in the game, yet they are at a BR of 12.3, because the weaponry is considered to be lacklustre. This is the same kit that is found at 12.3 on an F-4E. The Netz being the same BR as the Kurnass 2000 is absolutely laughable, need I say more.

Aircraft: F-4EJ Kai
Mode: Air Realistic Battles
BR Change: 12.3 → 12.0

The F-4EJ Kai is another relic of a bygone era. It is simply an F-4EJ with 4 AIM-9Ls, 4 AIM-7Fs and an F-16 radar. This used to be considered an excellent kit, but powercreep has made the F-4EJ Kai the same BR as F/A-18s. F-16A Block 10s and Mirage 2000s with IRCCM Magic IIs. Compared to the F/A-18A, the F-4EJ Kai has 2 fewer IR missiles - that is it - the weapons loadouts are otherwise identical.

IS-2 (1944): 6.7 → 6.3

I just don’t think they perform well in their current BR.
Personally I’d also take away the IS-2 1944’s smoke charges and top shell, and give them to the IS-2M in the future.
