Planetary drive for all Double differential/transmission tanks

As seen below Plantetary steering is planned to be added for all applicable vehicles which use it for the live server

As currently, Double Differential (Regenerative steering) and Double Transmission turning is not planned for this update. as a permanent feature

I propose that the Planetary steering be added as a placeholder for all vehicles that are applicable for Double Differential or Double transmission

This would be a step toward greater realism in tank steering, and would greatly aid in the quality of life of many tanks in game… and would avoid more modern vehicles being punished for having a more modern steering system by not having it modelled.

Unlike Double Differential and dual transmission, Planetary steering does not severely hamper the steering on CQC maps, while also aiding in speed in manuvers.

this could act as a very good temporary comprimise in the short term while Double differential and Double Transmission is perfected

planetary should replace the clutch braking as default from now on, its far better and closer to real tanks

Agreed.

It would make no sense for regenerative steered tanks to still steer like 1920s tractors when even WW2 tanks would be turning better now xD

If it were for me, they should implement even the current iteration of Regenerative Steering and polish it later. But if not, then planetary for everyone as placeholder.

Bare clutch braking belongs in early 1930s tanks and nothing else.

I don’t see why anyone would be against this, planetary steering is better than the current handling in every way.
