Plane bundle gift got refunded, get plane back when buying GE to get positive again?

Hello,
last year I won a plane bundle from someone on X doing a raffle. A couple months later, he refunded it or did a chargeback for the money and my GE got into the negative and the plane got removed.
I now paid for GE to get the GE balance back into the positive but the plane is still missing.

Did anyone else have a similar situation? Do I eventually get the plane back?

I think you will need to open a support ticket. The staff on the forums are unable to assist with account issues.

I’m not going to post the support link, you should NEVER trust a link from random people online, especially with important account issues.

NOTE: You might want to skip to the second step below to get your Player ID first before starting the support ticket. You will need to enter your ID for the ticket.

  1. Easiest way to make a support request is to open the game, click the ? icon at the top right of your screen, click “Support”. You can then continue in game, or click “Open in external browser” if you prefer. Click “Submit a Request” top right of the page. Click the drop down, select “War Thunder”, and I think “Financial Issues” would be the appropriate Category selection.

  2. Enter your player ID. You can find your ID by going to the Online Store (“Shop” button top right of main screen inside of War Thunder, then click “Online Store”.) Click on your profile name top right of screen, then “Profile”. Your ID will be at the top left. Enter that number into the Support Request.

Enter all the information you have. After submitting your request BE PATIENT. It can take some days/week for them to get to your request. If you need to edit your request right after submitting it, that is “OK”, but do NOT update your request in the next days, because each time you add a new comment to your request it sends you to the back of the queue, greatly extending the wait time. Obviously do respond if the support agent asks you for any additional information.

Good luck.

EDIT: And obviously be polite and patient. If the first agent does not resolve your issue, or does not fully understand the complete issue, make a polite response further explaining the situation. The agents are very helpful and polite, sometimes the support ticket needs some extra attention and that is OK. They have a ton of tickets to deal with, the first response doesn’t always solve the issue. But I have always been able to work though any issues to get my tickets resolved. They are real humans, treat them well and they will return the respect 👍

Thanks for the explanation! I created a ticket and am waiting for the response.
If I have to buy it myself, that would be fine with the ongoing sale, but as it ends soon, it would be a bit sad if I don’t get it back.

HRMMM, I’m not sure if I should suggest going ahead and buying it now. It MIGHT be a good idea to get it now, and wait for a refund for the missing GE’s, because it is almost certain that they will NOT give you a discounted price later IF you are unable to get a refund for the prior issue. I am fairly confident that they will give you a refund on the GE’s or give you the missing vehicle, but it’s never 100% certain.

Really up to you, but I will say that you should expect the response to take ~1 week for your ticket. I’m not sure how much longer the sale will be going.

I think I will buy it, because 40€ rn is a good deal (80 is just crazy xd)
If I do get a refund/GE worth of the plane, that would be great afterwards.
