Plague of players flying into your rounds and crashing into the dirt to purposefully cause SL loss/team kill

There has been a pretty major increase across all BR’s of player “weaponizing” the teamkill penalty system.

I will have my gun on target, and a teammate will come swooping down from above in attempt to claim the kill before I do. Fair game, whatever.

The Issue I have is, lately if I do end up securing the kill, the player that crossed in-between my rounds will often faceplant themselves into the dirt out of spite and frustration, because they know that not only will it avoid crewlock, but it will also “Punish” the other player. I think this is a VERY BIG mistake giving this sort of power to the average person, especially when it comes to competitive online games. As time as gone on, more and more players have discovered this “teamkill” mechanic and as more salty players use it as a weapon, more players join this disguisting behavior and now as a result its very normal for players to zoom in and out of your weapons because THEY KNOW all they have to do is aim towards the dirt and suddenly they can rejoin the match with no penalty all while knowing they have caused you pain.

The threshold amount of damage to count towards a “teamkill” MUST be pushed up. Why is it that a 7.7 tracer round going through a wing, not even causing light yellow damage is deemed well enough to charged me tens of thousands of SL and put a permanent mark on my account as a teamkill? Especially considering I didnt do any lethal damage to begin with, more damage was cause directly by the player themselves pile driving into the dirt.
