From what I saw in the replay, you shot the BMPT the wrong way! See, you’re supposed to shoot at spots where there are no spall liners, no ammo detonation protection, no ERA, no composite armor, and no angles that just eat 629mm-pen APFSDS.
I think I’ll have to send you to a BMPT EXPERT so they can teach you how to fight them.

the 105TML was removed and replaced with the 105 xc-8 an overall better vehicle regardless, in the bmpt’s case there’s plenty of russian premiums already, we can offer you a 2s38 instead, or a pack donkey with authentic saddle bags attached, bring it back in 3 years with fixed armor.

If I spend two days playing top tier, I could make a 50-minute video destroying BMPTs. That doesn’t mean I’m going to deny the win rate this vehicle is giving Russia, it doesn’t mean I’m going to deny that the vehicle is outperforming all the other MBTs in the game, and it doesn’t mean I’m going to be a total DENIER just to get personal benefit from a vehicle in the game that’s ruining it to the point of scaring any other player from entering the same BR.

If Gaijin hadn’t been listening, they wouldn’t have increased the BR of the BMPT and wouldn’t have ruled out further increases, and they made it clear that they are monitoring the vehicle’s performance in the new BR. Stop crying like a child and become a man. You think things happen overnight, crybaby.

People’s main mistake when engaging this vehicle is going for the crew instead of just firing at the ammunition rack… AKA the whole lower center of mass; both frontally and laterally.
It has an ENORMOUS ammunition rack in there, below the turret. If it’s hit, the thing simply dies, just like any other vehicle; and if it doesn’t die, the firepower will be disabled via module destruction, giving you a second chance to finish it off immediately afterwards.
Sure, it has really good armor and there can be some “Gaijined moments”; sure, it was introduced at way too low BRs and sure, its initially non-flammable ammunition storages was bullcrap…
But I believe some users are starting to exaggerate and overdramatise at this point. Specially those taking it so deeply… personal.

Already a bit used to that from years of WT lurking and reading the in-game chats, but I’m mainly just disappointed how I can agree with issues around the BMPT with someone but they will turn around and defend another problematic vehicle (premiums included).

Kinda like PUMA, IPM1/2A5/6 back in the day, etc.
A way too terrible initial implementation drags down as a consequence a long term backlash reaction that wouldn’t go away no matter what.
BMPT could be given insta-death hullbreak, be made 13.0 and have its APDS belt removed and I’m sure there would will be those who would continue to target their anger towards its existence.
