The RDA is a prototype, and the gunpod is only on the production model. Gaijin believes the Prototype cannot be fitted with a gunpod because it doesnt fit on the model as the prototype has a slightly different underside. Im not sure if I beleive this or not.

There is also a secondary source that suggest a single 25mm ADEN could be installed internally alongside the radar.

But I dont understand why

A) they dont bodge it like they do with dozens of other vehicles (for example F-5C getting flares)

or

B) Just switch from the Prototype model to the full production model. (Im not sure why it MUST remain the prototype)

thing is the SHAR has EEGS in the cockpit but not outside the cockpit, and it doesnt even work. same for the F-106

But I wonder what br will the production one be. If it’s still 11.3 then RDA prototype is just meaningless but make players grind more RP.
If it’s 11.7…well is that really worth 11.7? RDA now is medium-weak after fully spaded imo.

It will be 11.3 but probably in the Japanese tree
