just found out about this cool British aircraft called “Boulton Paul Defiant” that was actually used a bunch in ww2. It looks like it would be really fun in game since its an interceptor-fighter with a turret, wiki page is here: Boulton Paul Defiant - Wikipedia
Gawd no, I’d take a Gannet over that.
There are loads of “unique” british aircraft left to be added. Including more than a few from WW2. I’d quite like the Fairey Barracuda for a low tier dive bomber for example.
But the Defiant would be extremely niche aircraft and would either be dependent on Ai gunners (which would either be OP or useless) or otherwise be a very fiddly aircraft to fly as you would need to control the turret whilst also trying to dogfight and get into a possition where the turret could be of use. I could be mistaken, but its only weapon is the turret.
I could see it coming some day, it would make the perfect event vehicle. But there is a long list of stuff that needs to come before. Like we are still waiting on the Mosqutio B MK IV a proper bomber variant of the Mosqutio.
this isnt how you do suggestions but I would love to see a defiant. its one of my favourite aircraft because it was just complete trash
