Why does it have only 3mm more penetration than shells with half the TNT equiv such as the 15cm german reserve tier vehicle?
Petard - 17.73kg TNT - 64mm pen
15cm - 8.6kg TNT - 61mm pen
How does gaijin calculate HE penetration?

Someone made a graph, the required explosive for more penetration is exponential, with like at 3 Kg onwards or so you need far more additional filler to get any noteworthy penetration, i mean look at the 38cm rocket, 83mm or so with 125kg filler. thats 7x the filler aquivalent, and only 1,3x the penetration.
