People will still 1 death leave. The issue was never repair costs

1 death leaving is not an issue

How to fix “ODL”

Grinding reason for ODL:
Second spawn = 15% more RP and SL
Third spawn = 25% more
4th spawn = 40% more

There, fixed.

Disliked map ODL:

Allow to ban 5 maps instead of 1, so i can play on more maps i enjoy and aviod ones i dislike

There, fixed.

Premium tank ODLs:

Allow to respawn premium tanks up to 3 times for a “repair cost fee”, like for eg. respawning in heli PVE, so premium players with 1 tank can spawn multiple time.

Introduce more premium packs, like tiger one, where you have 3 vehicles in good price

There, fixed.

Everything can be fixed, so DO NOT blame the players for ODL, blame gaijin for poor game desing

Lmao what?

Great job penalizing people who stay alive.

You wouldn’t have any matches. At all. They just wouldn’t be practically possible.

Great, more P2W mechanics in the game. Very much appreciated…

:skull:

Is this post intended to be satirical? Or are you really that shallow-minded?

Thanks for admiting you do not understand how MM works

Thanks for admiting you do not understand what P2W is

Thanks for admiting you do not understand, that “time alive” is also a factor in RP/SL gain.

You literally lack a comprehensive reading skills, so you revert to adhominem, lmao

So you are a troll. No comment. Your words define yourself better than mine could ever do.

So you do not have any sensible argument, so you resort to ad hominem again.

How you say that this is not something that need a rework? The YOLO players

What do you mean?

If i form a lineup from 1 vehicle and “yolo” play then that’s my choice. It’s not against rules, you can play like that.
And tha’ts the way majority of people do when grinding tech trees with single premium vehicles, to grind is as fast as possible

I never said thats against actual rules, im saying that it is ruining my games. Gaijin may create a yolo mode so you can enjoy spending your time in queue and in a 2 minutes match. At same time to queue in an other mode you need a line up of 4/5+ vehicles

Again - don’t blame the players, blame gaijin for poor gamre design.

EDIT: Also, if i have 6vehicles lineup and i ODL because i’ve got map i hate, i will ODL. And in next battle i will be fighting next to you with only 1 vehicle. Not your fault or not my fault i will be forced by gaijin to leave after one death, because they locked rest of my lineup.

everything ok bro? are you making up words? when I said that it’s the players’ fault? I said that this SYSTEM ruins the game for others. I also said that they could create two modes, everyone is happy what is your problem with this proposal? I am not against a YOLO mode, why are you against a mode where you have to have a lineup? you win because you have what you enjoy, me too. explain to me what bothers you about this thing

you started by saying that there is no problem. As if everyone had to adapt to your idea. What system is this to discuss? maybe it’s fine at nursery school

Again and for the last time it is.

Who said I was blaming the players? You did not me. All them fixes for something that “isnt a problem” is well contradicting isnt it?

It is not.

If you have problem with how people play thats on you. Maybe you should consider single player games.

Nope.

Maybe you are just a big part of this community that do not really do comprehensive reading

Because there is no problem.

It’s you that have problem with how people play this game. You can propose ideas to motivate people to use full lineups, but still, me using one tank when i have 8 crew spots is not a problem

One death leaving is a form of protest. It ruining your games is the same effect as protesters blocking off a road or a service.

If it annoys you, you should consider complaints that drive one death leaving:

  1. Maps that are incompatible with certain nations’ playstyles (CQC battles & sniper tanks with no armour as a classic case)
  2. CAS spawns 3 minutes into the game and makes choosing to respawn a gamble in getting strafed (light vehicles) or bombed (everyone) before you even leave spawn
  3. Snowballing. The lack of flanking routes, fixed and known spawn positions and funneling makes it much harder to break-out and force the enemy team to react and abandon dug-in positions than it should be. This also interacts with map size - a large map with alternate spawn locations makes it much harder to control everything, thus allowing better break-out attempts.
  4. CAS dominance when you’re playing a nation you don’t have planes for, or if you don’t like flying in RB because the instructor annoys you so your only options are SPAA, which your nation lacks at the BR range you wish to play at.
  5. The way the Activity% and RP reward system functions.

Just like the solution to protesters annoying you isn’t banning the right to gather and protest, but finding a compromise with their complaints - same solution to one death leaving.

Piecemeal solutions will whittle away piecemeal chunks of the crowd (if you solve CAS but not maps, CAS-complaint people won’t ODL but map-complaint people still will), a thorough redesign of GRB to make it more enjoyable and fun will solve ODL better.

I mention the piecemeal thing due to repair costs being claimed as having had no effect. It had an effect, but the problems are far more wide-reaching than just repair costs.

I think that you dont understand.

I’ve posted a solution that would make everybody happy.

2 game modes, that makes everybody happy.

if you have any arguments regarding maps or cas, open the post where you assert your reasons. if you leave after 1 death, apart from ruining the game for others who want to have fun you get nothing.

if you protest, do it with those who can change things not against other players, who maybe also agree with you on small maps, or cas

why spawn again when I get blown up by CAS

Also, to find a solution we should discuss. Whats the point in posting a respons “there is no problem”. Thats only his own idea that is useless under a post of 700 replies about that. Its not costructive at all

If gaijin makes their decisions based on statistics, then by one-death leaving under certain conditions you communicate through statistics. If you can convince other players to do the same, then hopefully gaijin observes the same.

Consider how a bunch of high-skill players managed to sabotage the BR system and highlight its faults in air battles on a barely-played plane. The same can be achieved with coordination in GRB.

What’s meant is “there is no problem with one death leaving.” Meaning, one death leaving is not a problem, what causes people to ODL is the problem (bad maps, CAS, uptiers). Some may be legitimate, some may not be.

Another thing about ODLing is gaijin encourages it with battlepass tasks.

I no longer do battlepass, but when I did I had tasks that were “kill 3 tanks in 1 battle using a medium/heavy” or sth like that. If I stayed after those 3 kills, then I effectively wasted my time and delayed actually playing game modes or vehicle I wanted - so optimal way to play was to kill 3, return to hangar, swap from my tiger E to the Kv-1 zis5, kill 3, return to hangar and swap to conqueror, kill 3, return to hangar, go back to tiger E. Once all are complete, go play air sim/gsb.
