As the title suggests, I was curious if anyone knew when the peak times were for sim ground battles. I’m playing on the NA server.
I recommend you checking every server, it may take a while to join a match in a specific server.
I appreciate you getting back to me however the ping on EU and CIS is just a bit too high even for war thunder and I have never had a sim on SA
Never, play CIS servers
Haha duly noted.
I just turn them all on, which is do-able from the EU without any ping issues. It also depends on which side you wish to play and which BR setup it is.
I’ve realised that I don’t really know how to read the ‘player’s in queue’ information about the opposing sides, because sometimes I think if I switch sides it might help the matchmaker out but it never seems to be the case.
If you play USSR on the mid to high tier rotation you’re mostly asking to play bad vehicles.
I usually load a round in a few minutes on CIS compared to EU and NA combined.
The 8_2 and 8_2_2 tanks are not bad, they are just boring. It’s basically the same set of T-54s for you while going from facing 90mm HEAT to 105mm HEAT and in some cases stabilizers. Meanwhile they refuse to add the T-55A and T-62 so they actually have a use in Sim instead of being wasted spawns in 9_2.
That’s what I mean, compared to the counterparts, T-54 are not reliable if you take a comparison of it to a Leopard I, I’ve noticed the TO-55 is featured in this specific rotation, which, in my opinion may be the only spot this vehicle is really worth.
Does anyone actually know the peak times for the NA server, as in what time of day I can expect numbers to highest.
Low tier ground sim on NA servers seems most populated when everyone gets off school/work in US timezones - around 6pm est. Not sure how the south american players or servers factor in.
If you’re planning on playing a few games in a row, try to queue immediately after leaving a match. Then you should be in a good cycle with quicker queue times. This works better when more players stay till the end of the match. So play out your matches and try to win.
add all servers and join active matches… some teams are more popular than others so if you’re happy to switch nations you can get constant games.
This is the real answer.
Regardless of time of day I can always get a match almost instantly, and at worst ~5 minutes to wait for one to end, just by playing the less popular side.
The only people that complain about queue times are the people tryharding to play the hyper-meta mobile in every bracket.
