Please correct me if I am wrong, but AI bots go after a PE-8, even if high. And they will kill it.
PE-8 works usually better if more humans are in the team. Because many humans do either not set gunners to air or don’t load AA shells then.
To increase the number of guns, I recomment typing “PE8” in chat.
As a change in game, I would suggest that Bot-AI gunners do not fire at “fighter planes without bombs”. Because this currently makes playing fighters pretty useless.
It’s a screenshot from Warthunder, there is no other identifying features on it. Claiming it is for Naval RB mean as much as me claiming it is for Ground AB, which is nothing.
Lets try this out though, what BR/Nation was it that took 20 minutes? US at 4.7-7.0 doesn’t take more than a minute, 4.3 Russia takes less than a minute as well, 6.0 Germany took less than one minute as well.
It doesn’t really matter, naval RB queue times are bad and always have been bad. Just because they’re currently more playable as people are forced to play it, doesn’t mean it’s always like this.
They haven’t always been bad. Even with less players in Naval, the games will be populated by bots long before the 20 minute mark. I will say it again, you are exaggerating.
I love how when you say something it matters, but when someone else refutes it nothing they say matters. Also, noone is forcing anyone to play Naval. Gaijin doesn’t hold family members for ransom so make you play for an event vehicle. Exaggeration again.
all things above are equally true. it doesn’t change the fact that the moment someone dies and climbs into a pe8 you know the game is over, one random drop at the time.
maybe limiting the use of certain loadouts (FAB 5000 bombs, for example) to air battles?
Are you referring to naval arcade or naval realistic cuz I will tell you this more people play naval arcade than they do naval realistic I get what you’re saying about the penalization all that this was only a suggestion.
The whole Pe-8 bomber in naval is just a farce I get it.
I see him get spawned I immediately just take them out unfortunately a lot of vessels their guns don’t have the gun elevation or depression to go all the way up in the air and hit them when they’re at altitude.
So people get butt hurt when they get bombed.
As far as the penalization that I mentioned earlier it’s not a true penalization you’re using a bomb that was maybe produced a few hundred times if that let them take it let them drop it let them use it to kill but it is a specialty item and it should not be readily available for 100 silver Lions per bomb.
Not to be honest with you I have no idea what the cost is on the bomb I don’t play the Russians in the game.
Not saying that I haven’t just not a big fan of it.
I’ve actually seen the equipment up front up close and no a lot of it’s garbage.
But I think if you’re dropping 4K bombs you should pay.
And I’m also including the British big giant vol 2 I’m not saying just punish the Russian player.
Anytime you’re dragging something out that weighs over 2,000 and 3,000 lb it shouldn’t be cheap.
The guy that comes out with a 500 lb bomb and hits the target should be rewarded.
Regardless of what mode you’re playing arcade or realistic.
This whole navel update too is out of control a lot of great features were added but a lot of game mechanics that are just horrible.
Don’t get me started either on the skr7 garbage boat in real life.
Amazing how you can put 36 76 mm 3-in shells into it and
It still floats and it still fights
A bomb costing 3 times more than the repair cost of the plane is a penalty. This is not a historical simulator, the amount of FAB-5000 bombs that were dropped in real life means nothing, absolutely nothing. Otherwise, the Tiger 1 wouldn’t be able to move at the start of matches because in real life the transmission couldn’t handle moving the tanks from a cold start and required to be ran every hour or so to keep the vehicle warm. Not good for gameplay.
I think if you can’t reference equipment correctly you shouldn’t make an argument against it. It is the FAB-5000. Please for the love of sanity, look at what you are arguing against and make sure you are correct…
So make the bombs cost multiple times the amount of the airframe because YOU don’t like it? Cool, glad you aren’t in charge of the Warthunder economy, we’d all be screwed.
How about instead of trying to penalize players at random (since you don’t get to pick plane or ordnance), you just push for Gaijin to change the loadout of the PE-8 in Naval Arcade? Way more simple, way more fair. I get you’re angry about it, but maybe try to think of a way to fix things without destroying things.
The SKR-7 got huge firepower nerfs, and now with whatever damage change they made to naval it is quite easy to kill now.
This is something you can measure yourself. If you want to check it, you have all the experimental ingredients from the game regularly. All you need to bring along is scientific training.
I don’t expect to convince you of anything here. I wouldn’t believe this myself just from reading the claim. Just experiment yourself.
We should start having a talk about mid-air reloads. It breaks higher tiers air AB with unlimited missiles, it wouldn’t make sense if we had our planes in ground AB, and it breaks naval AB as well.
It would make sense to make it so that you have to get to specific altitude over the airfield to reload bombs, which would make it so that you can’t keep being really high and keep bombing, and you also need to get back away from the fight. This approach would fix multiple problems while also not making it hard for players that don’t know how to land on the airfield, but on the other hand, making airfields a place where enemy cannot attack you would also make sense, and making it lenient if you crash land near the airfield area, you can get repaired with just longer repair time penalty. We have “counting as a kill” mechanic now, it would make sense to give a kill to someone who last hit you, while still allowing you to repair the plane if you did crash land near airfield, let’s say “gracefully” and not nose diving into the ground.
