Gaijin, what is going on with the PARS 3 missiles?!
Why are they so damn inaccurate? They can nail a helicopter from 7 kilometers away, but somehow can’t hit a stationary tank? What kind of broken logic is that?
And what’s up with their damage? Did you guys completely lose it over there? Every new patch you drop $70–80 premium vehicles like it’s nothing, but fixing old broken stuff is apparently too much to ask?
And this helicopter — you seriously think it’s worth 640 spawn points? It can’t even take out a 90-SPAA with four goddamn missiles!
Same story with the AGM-65s — they can’t hit a damn thing and even when they do, the damage is pathetic.
PARS are notoriously unreliable, it is also missing an extra kilometer of range and proxy fuze, both issues have been acknowledged, but the devs are not interested in buffing it. It’s the “Hit” and “Assist” master missile.
At least you have FnF. If there is an spaa out i can’t do anything with a hellfire, and the hellfire doesn’t one shot most of the time too.
It’s gaijin’s skill issue
Don’t start telling me about “skill” — I’ve been playing this game long enough to know better. I’m not interested in flashy Shorts with highlight reels. The only time an AGM-65 can get 6 kills is if you manage to gain altitude over a tank map and drop the Mavericks vertically from above. Now tell me, with the amount of SPAAs and enemy aircraft equipped with ARH missiles, how often do you actually get to climb high and hover over the battlefield like that?
to be fair the Hellfire is in a much better state right now than it was before the buff, but yes, I wish the IOG was a little more reliable… or present at all, because without the laser they fly god knows where.
That’s just not true. They initially removed its overpressure mechanic then replaced it with a heavy heat warhead. What this means, is that over pressure is significantly reduced but its spelling is increased.
The issue lies with its flight path. Its has very little lofting and if it does hit, it gets caughts on era, or exterior metal leading to no pen.
If it does pen, its damage output is great but it’s no different compared to the hellfire. It’s a 50/50
In the 9.7 to 10.7 br range, mavericks are quite good. But in top tier, they are just trash.
