WTF!!!
Please tell me what’s wrong with these missiles? What did you break again? Why do these missiles miss stationary ground targets? How can they miss a tank that’s parked in an open field? Why even if this missile hits the target it hits the edge of it but not the center. These missiles have been broken and not properly configured for as long as they have existed in the game. There has not been a single day when these weapons have worked as they should.

Explicit language aside, I agree. PARS 3 are 100% bugged this patch (or underperforming as usual). They do zero HE and overpressure damage, bounces off Pantsir roofs and suddenly going kinetic and facing straight through light tanks. Spikes have been more reliable at killing SPAA and light tanks than PARS.

Little advice for both of you, shoot 2 missiles per target, regardless of what kind of target it is.

Hellfires and Vikhrs have enough HE to overpressure light tanks, even Spikes have better 1 shot potential, but a single PARS can’t even kill a Pantsir. They are bugged 100%.

I think they would be much more lethal if they had better accuracy. After all, nowadays there’s no top attack on tanks with these crappy missiles. You can review every PARS 3 missile, it always goes up and then flies in a straight line to hit any tank in the dumbest possible way. They never hit directly on the roof of the vehicle or its weaker areas.

in a russian main, but if this thing actually sucks, i have no problem with Gaijin buffing it.
things like the AH-64E should lose 8 out of 16 JAGMs and have proper lofting too so it can actually have top-down capabilities like the LMUR.

Ground vehicles with Spikes also don’t work. That’s worse then heli’s missiles. Poor germans spawning in a Puma VJTF and then barely getting enough SP to spawn in a heli with PARS. Then they spawn in a leopard 2A7V with breach spall and 6 second reload. oof

Didn’t know it was that simple, I thought the code would need a full refactor, which is why it hadn’t been done until now.

It’s really that simple, Armen showed me a custom battle where they fixed PARS by changing a single value in a config file. And yes, the difference in performance is night and day, it either one taps or deals significant damage.

If JAGMs are as effective as LMURSs, then I 100% agree with reducing their number; otherwise, I don’t.

I grinded for the Pars 3 with the expectation of them being at least somewhat useful.
They are the worst option of helicopter fired FnF and only work decently against AAs. I have to get really lucky to even crit an MBT. I don’t know what Gaijin was thinking with the balancing of the LMURs vs the Pars 3, given the Pars 3 is capable of similar top down attacks.
The LMUR will still be superior due to its way larger payload.

Additionally, the Pars 3 needs a better seeker head, the LMURs will track my helicopter without issue through flares and missile launches. The Pars 3 sees a flare or missile launch and immediately switches its target.

The french get spikes tho, they feel better on the puma than the pars 3 do. But I have no experience with them on helis. I doubt they drop the lock because of trees (which happened to me today).

Tbh, at least you get the JAGM-MRs, which I feel are better when I was fighting them. But that is totally anecdotal.

Not saying they are worse or better than the Pars, but the pars are just not modeled correctly, esp when the LMURs exist

Meanwhile Lmur just locks and holds it through walls and smoke, it’s ridiculous. I literally just died to one even after fully smoking off the front of my tank. He still managed to hit and kill me anyway…

IR ATGMs are not affected by flares. Outside of LDIRCM or somehow managing to dodge it at last second theres not much you can do to dodge JAGM/LMUR.
