Spall is crazy, though its often irrelevant since the HE filler often just overpressures anyway.

From sufficient range, every vehicle in the game can be killed from every angle, most targets dont even require any specific knowledge of armor.

If this is all it takes to get a new SPAA option in, then it becomes fairly easily to cook the numbers of other SPAAs. Like just holding W everytime I get into CLAWS or company. Russia does not need this SPAA.

I tested the new Pantsir missiles ingame and they can be spun at any range pretty easily, you can also evade them by just going up and down a bit in a 70-110 degree angle. Is it meant to be like that or is the missile just not final?

Has anyone figured out why Gaijin gave an AHEAD-like mechanic to the 95Ya6M? All the evidence I’ve seen so far indicates that it is purely a kinetic hit-to-kill weapon irl.

Yes, it is not hit to kill, you can kill even with the missile explosion, even behind a plane

and, well

I love how the War Thunder community has utterly stopped caring about whatever overpowered Russian vehicle gets introduced nowadays. When the Pantsir-S1 was introduced, it caused absolute chaos on the forums, with players accusing Gaijin of blatant Russian bias. Now we’ve got an improved Pantsir equipped with a 75G missile, engagement range exceeding 35km, and around ~300mm of penetration and nobody even bats an eye (96 total potential missiles btw).

The balls Gaijin has to even consider adding this is wild - the Buk M3 is NOT bad whatsoever

FnF helicopters

Well, the old pantsir barely lost the spot of best SPAA in the game to IRIS-T, so clearly russians need a better one to be clearly on top again.

Pantsir S1 would currently be at 12.7 if it wasnt russian.

Buk is also not bad, it’s simply better than sky sabre and samp/t, just for the chance of killing a plane thats hugging ground.

We have to get a multi vehicle version of the Pantsir-SM called Pantsir-SM-TBM

Yeah, because the War Thunder Community is slowly coming to their senses and realizing that their feedback doesn’t truly matter. At the end of the day the developers get the final say. No amount of feedback will change the developers mindset when its already been made.

You have Russian mains that’ll defend it with their life, even the ones that don’t have the vehicles but still play Russia will go lengths to make sure nothing happens. Any claim you make against Russian Bias, you’ll have an idiot go out of his way to talk about something at a completely different BR that isn’t a Russian vehicle which is rare which in their eyes justifies a top tier vehicle being OP lol. Or you’ll have people using nation win rates as a justification for it 'hurrrr RUSSIA HAS 47% WIN RATE ITS NOT OP COMRADE"

There’s just no point in complaining about it. Save the energy, spend your money and time somewhere else.

It is absolutely peak, and I want to see the tkb 1055 missiles admittedly, but this thing is busted lol

We haven’t stopped caring. Its just the community managers and devs don’t care that we are against it, continually point to data we can’t see as justification for adding it, and subsequently tell us to basically kick rocks while banning/deleting any comment suggesting we use the one method they will respond to.

Russia doesn’t need this new SPAA. If we were to go by their argument, the US would have gotten the M829A3/4, the British would have gotten their correctly modelled or imporved Brimstone, and etc etc regarding “this vehicle performs poorly, give it the better stuff we know it had”.

Its sort of why top tier is a waste of time and effort. Its why this forum feels pointless.
