Pantsir came out in 2023 with Sky Guardians. Almost exactly a year later the Kh-38s came with Alpha Strike.
I can’t believe it. Russia is the least nation which needs this monster SPAA with almost 100 missiles.
Its the other nations who are massacred by DIRCM/ LMUR and KH-38 volleys. Not the other way around. Wish we had some community mods talking to devs about this whole russian issue.
There’s no need to to completly shut down anemic non russian air forces. Its something needed to counter the ru ones!!!

So while I’m not a fan of Russia getting YET ANOTHER SPAA, I do love the mechanic and ability to have such a flexible loadout with the tiny missiles!

Meanwhile, Germany with no way of dealing with DLIRCM helicopters, it looks like IRIS-T did not meet the expectations. Where is my HFK-KV Mach 7 missile with 100G of pull?

Multiple great mbts, best CAS, best helicopters, game-breaking “IFV” BMPTs, Pantsir still best spaa against aircraft not piloted by NPCs, reload buffs, the only true top-attack missile in-game. …etc
Iam pretty sure that there are actual holes in the spaa line for multiple nations that could have had these resources allocated to, instead of a 3rd top tier spaa for Russia, a nation that HAS to have THE best in every category, as it seems.
Also, there are earlier, multiple-vehicle AA systems that are also needed a lot more than a 3rd top tier Russian spaa.
Maybe if the BMPTs were already at 12.3 and 12.7, this addition would be an easier pill to swallow, but there is just an unbroken streak of pampering that’s way too long.
Nice anti-tank spaa tho.

As many other said already…why does russia need another one. How many SPAA could a single nation possibly get. Zero balance in this game. And alway so op…so incredibly op.
Better missiles, faster missiles, longer range…huge, unmatched missile cound. Its just…idk.
Wasn’t a great addition, just as easy to kill as a T-80BVM, so it was kinda a side grade.
Leo 2a7V is whole upgrade over the 2a6 though.
It would be a great vehicle if maps in War Thunder could fit specially long range weapons like LOSAT and TKB-1055 that only can pierce armor with certain amount of momentum the greater distance it is from the launcher.
