slower the missile, worse the damage, same thing for aircrafts: higher ur speed, higher the range u can launch ur missiles.

i honestly don’t feel like the BUK is better in any way than the Pantsir-S1 with it’s 95Ya6.
non-erectal launcher + heavy missiles + ez to multipath makes it a bad SPAA.

The Buk missile is indeed weaker than the Pantsir missile, but the fragmentation damage from the Buk missile’s mass is still inferior to that of the 95Ya6M, which has a much smaller mass. This is very abnormal.

Yes. The Buk missile’s warhead mass is equivalent to about 45.74 kg of TNT, while the 95Ya6M’s warhead mass is equivalent to about 770 g of TNT. Even if the latter relies on a different damage calculation formula, it’s impossible to close this nearly 59-fold gap.

It’s not spaghetti code lol. Gaijin had a choice to buff buk or add a better pantsir and we know which they chose. They purposely didn’t buff Buk so they had a reason to add another Pantsir. (Pantsir S1 + Buk was better than what other nations had to offer and Gaijin made that gap larger lmao)
