Most probably is that it was Jagdtiger, just like with Sla. 16

Do we know how much hp it produced?
I can imagine that turbine was amazing on fuel for the army that famously had no fuel

i believe something in the ballpark of 1100hp, actually triple that but the rest was used to power the compressor

We can ignore that part ;). Let’s just say to Gaijin that the Panther F and G, Tiger 2(H) and Jadgtiger used a 3 300hp engine. Imagine if they did use it, that would have been very funny in games to see and IRL to laugh at how the logistics would be struggling even more with fuel

As far as I know it was 25-27 hp/ton (for a Panther). 1150 minimum, not counting whats lost to compressor and transmission.

IIRC I’ve seen picture of prototype transmission for GT but I cant find it… at least for now.
Also there was a consideration to put BMW 132D radial engine in to a Panther.

The Panther II in currently in-game has said to have the wrong turret, how different was the IRL production Panther II turret from the Panther F?
very. it was larger for one. and was made almost a year ago iirc.
while both Panther F and Panther II had 120mm at the front, 60mm all else, the shape was different
The F turret also had more angled side armour, narrowing more to the front than the Schmale Blendenausführung.
The armour joints at the rear are especially visible since the Schmale Blendenausführung uses the standard panther turret joints while the F turret uses an interlocking design.
The F turret had an incorporated rangefinder as well as a telescopic gunner sight peeking out above the turret. This feature, in contrast to the Schmale Blendenausführung, was only present on the Schmale Blende, the second turret design. These similarities are because the blende was used as a base for the F turret.

Tbh Panther F if fixed would be better. We could have F with muzzle brake at 6.0, Panther II at 6.3, Panther F with magazine at 6.7 and current Panther II at 7.0.
