Nah, it was thanks to the report @Flame2512 logged with the materials he gathered from the national archives, paired with some of the manuals I gathered through FOI. Mad ranting achieves basically nothing.
Wow. Thank you. Looks like I’ve seen all the tags.
P - for FOX-3
Y - for “red” fighter
F - for NATO-fighter
L - for blue SAM
“Number” - for “red” SAM
This is interesting, of course, but on the screen in the cockpit the signatures were different. It looks like just a list of identifiable contacts. For example, the Su-27 was identified not as a “MiG-29”, but as the NATO codification of its radar - slotback.
The cockpit display will be 1:1 (where possible) with the symbology from the manual. The generic third person display is more simplified for regular players.
They really need to work on an option though to have the third person RWR be either accurate to the cockpit RWR or the “user-friendly” generic one.
I have suggested an option to enable the HUD/RWR/Radar etc from the cockpit in 3rd person. But that will take some work.
Awesome, saves me working on a suggestion for it then
small question but is there like a central dot in the RWR display? knowing me I’ll struggle to judge how far the signal bar is from the centre of the display
Can you share this manual?
Hey, you can probably find it out there due to it being requested a bunch of times after I got it. But as a rule I don’t distribute my collection. Sorry chap.
Tornado bros, anyone having issues with Super Temp Skyflash and Tornados radar being chaffed?
Not in a while, though also not played it a massive amount in recent weeks
Does it fit both sides? Because if it’s being restricted to one wing, it’s on the wrong one for where it was usually fitted
That’s good. I was worried they’d restricted it to one side only, because of the direction the side dispensers were facing
Sorry, I’ve been out the loop. What’s the advantage using TERMA pods instead of the BOZ pods?
