I think the better tactic for the GR4 is to just dive towards the ground and use the Brimstones at a max of 2-3km whilst bombing along as low as you dare fly rather than using them as a stand-off weapon. For that you are better off using the Gripen or Gr7 with AGM-65 or the PGMs
So the true key may be to just play with a squad mate playing russia

And vt-1’s are quite buggy from what friends have said
For me if the stormer had more range it would be second to the panstier
you see, its fine, the Soviets have a really weak SPAA at top tier so need a powerful multirole CAS aircraft with long ranged stand-off weapons to compensate for that fact

Not even a ground problem anymore, this is going to lead to more base sp nerfs. Im fed up with gaijin nerfing base sp due to them giving more and more fighters the ability to destroy multiple bases in a row while our bombers are sat at the same br with a fraction of the amount of air to air weaponry.
Why is my gr 1 the same br as the mig 23? It should be 11.3 along with all the other tornados, in sim and in rb.
their both in game, this is the grom 2 your looking at. the grom 1 is the same but its motor is replaced with more explosives.
Wait until you hear about Sim. Mig-23MLD has a lower BR than the Tornado Gr1
…This is why i dont play sim above 10.0. 10.7 is just f4e territory and it swamps anything you bring. 11.7 and up is just 7fs. any higher and im using a tornado against mig 29s and f14s.

The only time the hunter f6 is usable is in sim sadly. Been waiting more than a year now for the fixes to the red tops and sraams (the changes to the red tops have been as bad as the challenger 2 dev blog).
But it has Grom E2 too. It just replaces motor with more explosive, and it can be launched backwards, as it will turn around and glide if gps is behind the plane

No, he is using E1, version with a rocket booster. E2 removes the booster but adds more explosive

Got it, i see what you mean now. Without the motor the spaa wouldnt be able to see it coming as well making it alot stealthier, plus who needs 120km range when you are going to be 20km away at most.

Well, it costs as much to spawn a fighter as it does CAS, so if they shoot you down with AMRAAM than you wasted their spawn points.
