For now.
Hehehe.
Knots for speed just feel more natural for me (Plus I play a lot of naval and im too lazy to swap out of knots when switching gamemodes) Also a lot of British cockpits display the speed in Knots in the cockpit
Feet just works with my brain for altitude, British thing.
Distance… Should probably be in miles I guess, but I just know everything as KM and it would be a pain to relearn distances, tried setting it to yards for naval, and it broke me :D
Just wish the targeting pod went off distance not alt for a unit of measurement, Ft instead of KM in that break me
I use all metric, am i french?
Still waiting for the option to set measurement units in naval to knots and nautical miles without tainting my other things.
No, you’re right.
Worse. I think you might be… German
Psst. We already have anti-ship missiles…
In general, they really need to be tried with new guidance principles…
I’m from mainland Europe (East) and my everyday language is metric. However, with the new Gripen interior interface, I’ll have to get used to imperial units. Although, in my opinion, they are insanely outdated.
Cough cough
I haven’t seen this in forever. How dare you remind me of a snazzy thing I forgot
These suggestions make far too much sense to ever be implemented.
Yeah…defo wishful thinking ;P
Well… Looks like you need to kick the snail so it adds loft to them.
P.S. Should the aircraft carrier’s face be inspected when 3 bombs fly into it from nowhere?
Welll… didnt check the bug list
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/EuqSLUnUv0s0
There is an 8 month old report for that
Hu?
It is usually a safe bet to assume there’s an bug report on a minor nation thing not working proper. Usually also safe to assume that it is “not a bug” or the devs told the person reporting it to go screw themself.
Yeah… there response is wierd on that report.
I understand what they mean, but at the same time, the entire guidance method for the Martel is technically a work of fiction. Giving it a 2000ft loft, especially when fired below 2000ft in alt seems like the minimum they can do
But you see, British.
Yeah…
But why? There are currently 10 planes with a BR of 12.3 in the game, including one premium. For 12.7, there are only 7.
In my experience, the current 12.7 in Sim EC is all about MiGs and Yaks. They just don’t let you fly peacefully, and they always have a numerical advantage, for obvious reasons.
true, thought it was more than that. Then I guess its to do with available brackets?
I really dont know tbh.
If Id hazard a guess. the 11.3-12.3 bracket we’d want would be rotation 3, that would mean a 12.7-13.7 bracket, which should be fine, but I guess for some reason they’d prefer 2x 13.0 brackets and no 12.3 bracket due to the more extreme difference in performance between many 13.0s and 13.7s?
But yeah, its wierd and annoying.
Yeah… Not that the redfor teams would EVER admit to the fact that that bracket is often dominated by Redfor.
