Ozelot and Gepard 1A2 should be the same BR as other vehicles with Fim-92s

I have most definitely fought them, because contrary to your belief they are not exclusive to germany!

And how exactly? I have never complained that my stingers are worthless and I cannot fight back against planes. The skill issue is definitely on your end seeing that you ignore all advice and do not change how you play even though it clearly isn’t working.

Good thing they can only fire 4 in relatively quick succession. After that they’ll either have to reload from internal stowage or first get ammo from ammo box and then reload, both of which take a lot of time.
Most IRs are useless at closer ranges as they’re basically dead for a first second after firing and simply don’t have enough pull to hit you.

Ozelot has 0 AT capabilities, M247 has some.
That thing has tracerless HE-VT which are actually as good or even better than Stingers in plenty of cases.

Yes they should not have the same amount of spawn points.
Every plane csn damage tanks with cannons pr bombs etc.

Normal vehicles besides maybe ifvs and spaas all cant counter spaas. Those spaas get cheaper spawns as a result.

You would think someone with 10k games would understand basic game mechanism or simple rock paper scissor principles

At short range M247 is definitely better to have.
At medium range IRs are better.
At long range both are crap.

Ozelot can’t do anything to any ground vehicle in the game and can only fire at aircraft.
CAS can hurt everything on the ground and can also engage aircraft.

SP difference is already accounted for.

IR missiles are also better on maps with tall buildings as you only need an enemy to be within view for a short time to fire at them.

SPAA v.s ground vehicles doesn’t matter. SPAA is designed to fight air, and should be balanced around that.

This depends as missiles don’t see buildings and they will gladly hit them if their tracking system says so.

It does matter as they are permanently locked in the same field as ground vehicles, so defending themselves against ground enemies is a factor.
Air is by far the most versatile type of vehicle and AAs are the least versatile which is perfectly shown by SP costs.

It’s better than not being able to fire at em at all bc they’re only visible for a few seconds at a time.

They don’t need to fight ground vehicles, but this also doesn’t excuse vehicles like the Gepard which can engage both ground and air VERY effectively, and still has reduced cost.

Compared to tanks, air is less risk for less reward, until you get to ~8.7-9.7 where it’s higher risk for less reward.

Why would I spend 500sp on a plane with a max potential of 4 kills, and massive risk fighting SPAA, whilst I can spend 100 sp for a Bradley and get 9 kills with basically no risk sitting in one spot whole game?

Then dont play cas?

Cas lets you take out problem enemies that would be difficult from the ground.

Also, you are not limited to just what you are carrying at that time. Guns work too and you can always go back and rearm

They have a 7-8 second burn time. That is a long time to react

Alternative option, make 8.7 CAS more viable.

You havent even tried all your options.

If you hit a building you waste a missile and make your presence known.

They can’t run away in a closed map so seeing ground vehicles is going to happen.

Bombs are not the only way to get kills, especially in the range infested with light vehicles.

You can’t get ground kills without any risk, unless you’re farming Ozelots or Type 93s.
