I was just playing with my new ZSU-57 until out of nowhere an AUBL killed me, it was realistic that the driver got killed, but it was unrealistic that the explosion with 31mm pen went trough 90mm armour!
He shot me frontally at the edge of my left track with an 43° angle, please fix this Gaijin.
With 90mm armour i meant the whole armour armour calculated together is 90 mm armour.
It didnt kill you by penning. The HE exploded and overpressured your crew because of it being open top. Over 700g of tnt is more than enough for that.
The more tnt the shell has, the further from the open top it can overpressure. I think anything over 500g can kill some crew on an open top as long as it hits the tank.

explosives are just inconsistent, just look at the billions of posts about HESH. honestly I think a hull break mechanic would be more balanced
