Out of battle chat does not seem to be available, anyone else with the same problem?, me and my mate cant access it and we are not chat banned

It’s been out of kilter for 3 - 4 days now. Not sure it is a priority for the game makers, not that many people even use the English chat, maybe a couple dozen at any given time during the day. Biggest problem I have is that being a Squadron Commander, I cannot communicate with my Squadron … . this can be and is an issue, and would hopefully be dealt with promptly, but it is the weekend, so . . . probably just have to wait it out.
the chat service that gaijin has made for this game is really…outdated. its one of the problems this game has. gaijin hasnt given any attention to allow proper communications between players.
the players of this game can more reliably go to a community discord and find players there to grind with, or a squadron to join, than asking around in the outdated chatrooms this game has.
i cannot really think of a reason why they dont update it to modern standards. i mean, world of tanks is way older than war thunder, but they had the chat figured out way before them.
