Almost as if this game isnt centered around usa.
And before you go on about how aam4 is shitting on every missile: its not. there are even problems with the missile right now where thrust isnt enough and/or burn time isnt long enough, resulting in poor acceleration, speed and range. And for maneuverability wise, it would never win against things like MICA with TVC.

I would give you numbers but I doubt we wanna be number/stats nerds here, and i dont even wanna comment about how you think aam-4 is made in other country other than japan as others have schooled you enough

Why have the Raptor when i can get the Typhoon and the F35 that by the time it comes will have better weapons then the US one

I don’t care either way. I just find the Brit mains trying to mock US mains begging for stuff we never used to be hilarious. If the Raptor ever comes, it will be added in a position where its advantages are negated completely. Thats the war Thunder way.

Ah yeah, because the addition of the F-15A in the US tree totaly was negating its weaknesses and not every us main cried about the japanese one being better,
Or right now were the f4f ice is being added in a spot without any weaknesses

Irl, in game AAM-4 is best followed by MICA and the others are kinda tied with PL-12 and R-77 being the worst.

No? It’s significantly heavier than the 120C. The AAM-4 isn’t even working as it should, it has same motor as MICA-EM but weighs twice as much.

What battle is supposed to be easy?

Look at Flankers Vs. any nato jet right now in sim.

It takes SKILL, BRAIN, CHANCE & LUCK to beat a competent nato jet.

This is FUN, working for a kill is FUN.

Fighting to survive is FUN.

Ofcourse all of this is in my opinion, but I am and will always be for 1:1 realism idgaf how tough it is it will be challenging but fun.

Also flight performance and dogfight abilities.

There is a reason why Raptor is still best Air Superiority fighter in the world. We keep claiming Eurofighter Typhoon and Rafale can easily kill Raptor in 1vs1 but none of us actually know how those training dogfights started in the first place.

As a EFT and Rafale enjoyer i believe both plane will be significant threat to Raptor in WVR fight but they will not gonna be able to dump Raptor easily.

Most of those training fights put the Raptor at a major disadvantage. Generally reflectors to reduce its stealth, drop tanks to reduce its maneuverability and no BVR engagements.
