I fear to tell you this, but did you look at the actual weapon development going around in the world?
US literaly only produces good Aircraft nothing more. Sadly they dont follow the philosophy with their missles.
US missle systems are the cheapest all around option.
But near to all countries have developed and have better missle options in use actively.
Quick examples for europe.
US AIM 9X gets out performed by IRIS-T and ASRAAM, as far as i am aware by the israly missle as well
The AIM 120 is bad as well, getting out performed by Meteor, and the french missle
Once we start getting to the actual most modern weapon system in war thunder. US will propably the worst armament wise no matter what, because their missle systems will be the worst

I’ve been told twice already.
The AIM120 is getting replaced by the AIM260 this year.
And while missile to missile, European variants may be better but Europe can’t compete volume wise. Having a better missile doesn’t matter if you can’t field enough of them. The true strength of the US doesn’t get represented in War Thunder.

Sure, but you’re comparing much smaller militaries with fewer vehicles to arm. The US chose not to by the ASRAAM and upgrade the AIM9 with the new seeker. The X is also compatible with aircraft that already carried the later AIM9s, so it was cheaper to upgrade the fleet.

i mean, so does the IRIS-T, compatible with all sidewinder users. Its nothing special
Still like i said, for the game, US will have the worst armament. And it will become very noticeable at one point

From what I know, Germany backed out of the ASRAAM program and Britain decided to change the motor, so the US developed the X.
Like I said, the US military is a global force. It has different logistics and goals to meet.

Yep. Im also not sure what the US is going to do when they find out the Typhoon can beat any US made jet in WVR combat and go toe-to-toe with them in BVR combat.
Maybe Typhoon will never come till they get a 6th gen jet
