i got one more yesterday and one more this morning.
so now i have had 3 night battles in total since the update.
it seems a bit better than before the increased chance, at least for me. i almost exclusively play at 11.3 GRB.

After some more playing there is kinda a pattern, when I play and get a night battle, the following 3-4 rounds are also gonna be a night battle…

one battle in the last few days, which makes two since they were enabled. Every NB has been a small match (6-8 players) making me think the number of players interested is pretty small.
nah, that’s just the format for now. Honestly I prefer it, feels like your actions in game have alot more weight. And most people take the games more seriously…

GUYS! You can shoot down flares!!! I noticed they were showing on my my SPAA Radar (US ADATS) took a shot with missile, POOF no more flare =D Didn’t get any points, and kind of a waste of a missile, but it is absolutely possible to shoot them down! I shot down 2x last NB match, so it was for sure not a fluke. 2nd one had just spawned and it went bye bye shooting it. (Didn’t try locking on with radar/IR, but they are so slow was a very easy free hand shot.)
I still think that they should be removed totally. Since the night battles are optional right now, andthe people who actually want and have thermals can participate in them - therefore the need for flares has become redundant as they were introduced to ease the night battle experience for the players without thermals.

At about 25k points a month, that would be “only” another 5 months of grinding to go. Still too extreme imo, would still prefer a dedicated NB queue for all the reasons we have all discussed already. GL everyone o7

Played around 40 battles no night yet. I use 11.7 tanks and even used 12.3 plane to get in to a high BR no luck

I’m sitting on around 55k atm. Will probably not get to 100k before the new year, since I uninstalled to focus on finals.

Btw, I’ve heard some people claim you only get night battles in the evening/at night (in IRL time) and that’s what the 21:00 - 2:00 refers to.
Is this true?
I don’t think it affects it…At first I believed that to be the case, but after playing for another week I found the rates to be more or less the same. I just go over to the achievements tab and rub the cursor over the “Lord of the Night” title for good luck, just in case that does something… seems to work hahaha

You get Night Battles when enough players are in queue.

Right now Night Battle is triggered when enough players on required BR with Night Battle checkbox marked are in queue. There are no other restrictions (like time of day, day of the week, moon phase etc. :) ).
