Yeah like Dontkev said, you need to at least have a 10.0 in your lineup for a NB to have a “possible” chance.
I’ve done 20 matches from 2:30pm to 5:30pm today an found my second ground night battle since lunch of the NGB release, I’ve been trying for night RB since lunch of it averaging 3-4 hours daily if not more trying to get a night battle.
I noticed that the match had a really low amount of people in the lobby on either side.
The flairs are annoying because there is no use of the night vision goggles. (Honestly the flairs are a really minor issue considering that it’s nearly impossible to find a night battle.)
The only reason why I think I got that night battle was because I raised my BR to 12.0 with a jets in my line up.
I’m extremely disappointed with my results of getting in night battles, an I’m more disappointed in the fact that the recent server update (21.11.2023) which states my chances are increased are not helping with the situation.
Night maps for RB in my opinion need to be openly available to players that want to do night maps rather than the players being forced to play day maps till they luckily find a night map.
Gaijin please make a separate game mode just for night battles.

Yeah, still 0 NBs since my last update. I’m about to just do GAB and keep grinding till they add a dedicated queue. I am nerfing my lineups to take in vehicles that have NVD/TVD which are not the best if the NVD/TVD wasn’t needed. (Sadly, about the only other “method” I see people might start doing is just leaving any GRB that is daytime to try and get NB’s. Which is detrimental to everyone.)
Cheers guys, hopefully they are watching and taking note. This “chance” system is pointless and not working.

Got a few hours ago 2 Night battles in a row and got the first title, after that nught battles dissapeard again

Just got the first “night” battle… It was bright as day, I literally had darker setting at “day” battles… NVD was useless, like what is the point of night battles if they are brighter then some day battles? Flares should be removed or player controlled and weather randomised, to make night battles like actual night battles… Also I still dont understand the BR limit, its optional so BR limit is pointless and ruining it.

Update, I’ve completed 23 matches from 3:40pm to 8:00pm, 1/23 matches I’ve played were a night match today playing at 11.7BR only
I’ve only have gotten 3 night matches out of this month so far.
A player should have the ability to choose if they want night or day without being forced into either.
gaijin please make a separate queue for only night battles so the player base isn’t forced into day matches, maybe even give the awards of playing night battles to players that just switched on participate in night battles, how about make the queue time for players with night RB longer so we’re not rammed into a day match an have a better opportunity to get a night match.
I’ve been patiently waiting for night battles to come increasingly more often or have the choice an enjoy the technology that the newer vehicles have.
I’ll keep checking in here to see how everyone else’s luck has been a see what your options are on the game mode.

quarter of the way there. I use a 12.3 lineup (MiG 29G to kill those pesky ground pounding f16s), and i get quite a few of them now…

Yep, really want that pilot icon. I’d love a dedicated queue, it feels like people take everything alot more seriously in night battles.

Just got 2x NB’s in close proximity to each other, and FWIW I DID have on the option for “Join Already Active Battles” which I do NOT normally have on for GRB, but both of the NB’s I got today were already in progress (which I do not mind at all, just want more NB’s =D ). Hmm haven’t played that much but from ~30 matches I got only 1 night one, maybe unlucky?

If you play 11.0+ your chances are a lot greater. If you play 10.0, roughly half your games are going to be downtiers to 9.0, so you wont get as many night battles

I’ve been at it again today lost count of the total battles I’ve been in but I got 3 night matches today alone, I’ve been playing ground RB for 7 hours I noticed I got more ground battles with my F-16C in my line up but then again I’ve been at it for awhile now, I really hope night battles can come more frequently as I only have 2 10.3BR tanks an it’s annoying I have to force uptier myself to get in them easier.
Hope you guys have been having better luck then I have, I also agree that the night battles are more competitive an I think that’s just because everyone just wants a good score in the end to get the rewards ( myself included).

what br are you playing?
I’ve tried at 10.3BR where my tanks are at having low success in getting a night battle, an then I’ve tried at 10.7BR, 11.0BR, 11.3BR, 11.7BR, 12.0BR, an yesterday I’ve used 12.3BR. I’ve been using my higher BR rated jets to increase my BR to try a get more night battles, I haven’t got on the game as of yet, I’ll be on in 20 minutes, unless you have an idea to get more night matches.
I’ve only gotten 6 night battles as of now since the release of night battles, I’ve been trying to get the night battle pilot player card as well as the titles to go with it.

You get em more often at higher BRs, just keep going for 12.3.

I’ve just completed round two of going to 12.3BR to try an get into night match an had no luck at all tonight, honestly I think it’s a poor way of prioritizing queue an you just gotta be lucky to have enough people in the same server region to enter with night battles on at the same time for a chance to get in one.
Gaijin just needs to make a separate queue so that if a player wants to play nights only then they can

It takes time… I’ve only gotten 30k points after a week of constant grinding. Probably not gonna get any more until the holidays, since I’ve gotten a bit busy.
