The creators of the Oplot are clearly incredibly incompetent. Instead of creating magic floating ERA they should have made the entire front armor consist of ERA spacers instead of that horrible ERA. The ERA cant even stop OFL 120 F1. I think i should help these designers make their tanks. They clearly have no clue what theyre doing.
Imagine if it was in the russian TT. Wouldn’t have nerfed ERA this badly.

Incompetent or working as intended. I think we all have a pretty good idea why the armor is underperforming and modeled worse than how its real life equivalent performed during testing. I don’t even need to say it.
The plate is there!
The issue is that they made it be Structural Steel, with a 0.45 multiplier, instead of HHA or RHA like the rest of the plates found on the tank, as far as I’ve been told.
It’s also 35mm thick instead of 50mm thick, as it appears to be.
Oplot’s glacis is basically missing about 100mm KE because of these nerfs to that plate.
