Because it uses the same stupidly OP aphe that the xm246 uses… it is also far less survivable and has worse gun handling than the xm

Falcon is a monster for TD but substantially worse for AA, the DCA has no stab and is far easier to hit compared to gepard.
The ZA-35 I dont actually have crewed yet but seems decent, however id rather use the Cheiftain marksman over it.

So facing a boatload of leopards and the likes, sounds fine to me, the M247 loosing it’s AP rounds meant that it can seldom damage targets anymore, having a SPAAG with powerful general use rounds is missing from the US tree currently until the LAV-AD, and 10.0 is where funni, gun SPAAG starts to drop off hard.
Just a little off topic but do we know which source that Gaijin use to make M247 only able to carry half of HE-VT of its full load ? (2/4 instead of 4/4)

Radar is made to give enemy air players a chance close up so you have to aim manually. It is not realistic but gameplay compromise, I think. IRL the XM246 had a closed loop fire control which means it would be more accurate at close range.
This is because they cloned the M247. IRL the XM246 had 2 magnifications one low one for searching and one high one for electro-optical tracking, which has been bug reported. On the M247 the low magnification is the commanders sight giving it a hunter-killer feature but the XM246 doesn’t have that. Giving it low mag would off cause make it even better as a tank destroyer so it seems they are holding of on adding it currently.
So I can lock target when I don’t need, and I can’t lock target when I need it.
What about making plane weaponry work at random at br <7.0? So we can play roulette which push of space button drop the bomb - from first to ten at full random?)

Well I only find that withing 800m the radar doesn’t work, if you can’t lock at 3000 the plane i probably notching or chaffing, if you have it on the search radar you just click lock and it automatically locks for me. I would like it to work correctly too btw.
Well I don’t like it any more than you but just explaining why I think it is happening. Just like you don’t want proxy to have it at the battle rating, there are other features which are incomplete.
Honestly i think that 35mm API as a whole should be nerfed, and the XM246’s survivability should be decreased greatly. I’ve shot this thing bang on in the middle with my Chieftain Mk.10, did nothing and he kills me frontally? It really ruins 8.0-9.0 games, at least with the Gepard i can .50 cal the thing to death but the XM246 seems to be immune to everything but CAS cause god forbid 35mm SPAA do their job…

This vehicle is extremely overpowered. It’s basically a better MBT than the MBTs at the BR due to its easy to use guns to knock out MBTs + its goofy survivability
