Im actually excited for the NK and SK being in the same tree lol. It will have both NATO and Chinese/Russian vehicles which i think is cool.
Also there wont be any North Korean crying in the forum cuz they don’t have electricity LOL

I am ethnically Korean, and I honestly couldn’t care less.
It’s just a video game at the end of the day.
Implementing either North or South Korea without the other would set large BR gaps and less powerful vehicle lineups if they were just independently split tech trees. Ex: (Similar to the Israeli tech tree upon its initial release or the Japanese tech tree in the early days, without Thailand/Indonesia as a sub-tree).
The combined and united Korean tree was the best-case scenario implementation, even if, politically and nation relationship-wise, it doesn’t make sense.

I agree that politics shouldn’t be brought up in this game, but then people will need to get over stuff like Ukraine going to USSR as well. Denying one while supporting another looks absurd to me.

I’m just telling you facts.
They’ve waged a war in the 50s and to this day their relations are still bad, so adding them together in the same TT wouldn’t make sense from a political standpoint.
I’m against politics in WT, so I wouldn’t mind that happening, but I also wouldn’t mind seeing UA under USSR.
