This is a great idea, literally. Hats off to the people who made the decision to add this into ground battles. However, they executed it in the worst possible way they could have.
Let’s break it down:
You’re given a tank and a spaa for free in every line up above 9.3. But these tanks are completely stock, and permanently stuck at lvl 1 crew. Why? HEAT-FS vs modern composites was such a horrible experience that in every top tier tank (12.0+ with some exceptions) will not receive HEAT-FS stock. But will be given what was the tier 1 APFSDS. DM-33 for the leopards is an example. You are given one part and one fire extinguisher every time you spawn in. That’s nothing, a single hit to an optic and you accidentally repair it, boom there goes the thing that would repair your barrel or engine if it was destroyed. The one fire extinguisher? If someone has a view on your engine all they have to do is set it on twice. The first shot would take the fire extinguisher and the parts, the second will set it on fire to burn.
The easiest way to fix this is just to make them partially spaded: parts, FPE, it’s best round (M829A1 for the M1A1, DM-23 for the 2a4, and 3BM42 for the T-80s and T-70s) and maybe filters. That’s it, people can handle having a level 1 crew, it’s the fact it’s essentially a paperweight in your lineup. Keep the SPAA stock, most people aren’t gonna need a fully spaded SPAA anyway.
