Operation R.E.L.I.C. [Bringing back unobtainable vehicles and cosmetics]

Definitely would be nice to use it for something at least. Seeing as how eventful vehicles will be numerous, I think the steep price would be reasonable.

(I do wish Gajin would let a small % of said rp to be used at the cost of sl or something)

I think that would be a great idea! Maybe have the option to use convertible RP or GE for the stars as well allowing a bit more flexibility while also incentivizing gaijin to make a little money.

+1 I love the idea, it’s definitely alot more thought out and realistic than most other suggestions relating to old event vehicles.

I personally don’t even really care for the higher tier vehicles, i’m just really crushed because the LVT(A)(4), Ka-Chi, Toldi IIA, and LVT-4/40 are unobtainable through the marketplace and are nearly impossible to get through SL crates if they are in them.

Sorry for my late reply, I completely forgot to actually write a reply xD

But that is a very interesting idea, it’s been added to the suggestion!

That would be a really nice addition as well!

To say I am in full support of this would be a massive understatement - though I would argue perhaps that with the sheer number of Ranks now, it might be better off to have a Rank 1 vehicle worth one star, a Rank 2 worth two stars, etc.

Additionally, making the stars themselves completely independent to be spent on anything, but you can only earn twelve in each vehiclular battle mode type, so 12 from Air, 12 from Tanks, 12 from Naval, etc. but you can spend all 36 of those just on aircraft if you so desire.

I would myself grab all the German-Italian planes I never researched before their removal (I foolishly only prioritized the C.202 and nothing else), the extra SB-2Ms, the extra Yer-2s, the extra Gladiator biplanes, the Ki-10 II C, the He-51C-1/L, the two extra SM.79s Italy never got, the Closed Beta Test Tu-2 with dive brakes, the E-100, and several others. I am sitting on roughly 60 million CRP, so I would have more than plenty to burn through and get all of these in one fell swoop.

Well pc players can now get their hands on the Chrysler xm1 after years of it being a Xbox exclusive, hope they bring the Corsair out purgatory too. Great idea as I never got the Italian planes and would love to add them to my collection in germany

And A-26C too (ikr it’s PS exclusive). Been waiting too long for that.

That’s the black and red one isn’t it? Was in the last so crate I think

I agree with this idea, and with the suggestion as a whole. The prices of rare vehicles could be reasonably much higher in order to account for this.

Yes, but there are two A-26Cs. One is a gift for PC players from 2013, and the other is for PS players.

What’s the difference between them?

Although both are A-26C-45 in name, the PS one is premium and doesn’t have HVARs, while the other isn’t premium and does have HVARs.

The intent is not to inflate the prices - only rare vehicles which are actually good should be considered to have slightly higher prices.

For example, the Panther II is well-known to still be one of Germany’s best late WWII-era tanks. Instead of costing 4 stars to unlock under what I proposed (one star per tier), it would cost say five or six.

I would argue no more than a 50% hike in cost for the truly exceptional ones, because we as a community frankly need LESS grandfathering-in and pearl-clutching. I own the Panther II, KT105, and Coelian for example, and I WANT the newer players of today to access them. The same logic applies to any other rare vehicle. Even special cases like the IS-7 (which I also own).

I think some level of rate throttling on the most desirable vehicles is more or less inevitable upon implementation. I’m not advocating for it and I appreciate your sentiment, which I think most of the community shares.
