If Gaijin’s main focus is to keep the marketplace mostly intact with the introduction of an event like this, then they would have to add a lot more requirements to unlock the expensive rare event vehicles. Which to be honest would be easy to do, just make more event vehicle connections. Techtree or premium connections as pointed out in Note 4: (Middle right) would also go a long way to help maintain rarity of certain vehicles.
Hell, at the moment I made connections that made sense. Same vehicle platform, or part of the same lineage. But you could also make connections to unrelated vehicles. Take the E-100 for example, you can connect that to the Leopard 2A7V, and now you need to unlock the very top tier vehicle to get the E-100.
The event is very adaptable, so Gaijin can change and tweak the settings as they see fit.
It could also be something like this:
300 games played in Tiger II to be allowed to unlock the Tiger 10.5
or something simpler like
Both Tiger IIs spaded to access unlocking the Tiger 10.5
Making it a difficult grind + requirements will not destabilize the market.
The people who buy off of the marketplace are generally not the same people who have the patience to grind for vehicles.
+1; Honestly just want a way to get things like the Ro.57 Quadriarma, H-75M and VL Myrsky II with out the loot boxes from the premium battlepasses. I don’t like the keeping them rare argument, at-least for digital goods and especially in a competitive game; I can’t see the harm in an event like this once a year, or like a rotation where you can grind the monthly vehicle OR get a star or whatever to whatever previous event vehicle you missed that is not available in the market.
I would disagree with this, especially if things like the 341 buff keep happening. That completely killed 5.7-7.7 for everything but Germany (shocker) and was the only time I saw Germans have a decent winrate.
It would be only fair for payer to have to grind as originally tese vehicles are event which means people grinded for them, getting them the same way is only fair
There’s some premiums that should have been in the TT like the turans, toldis or the 75mm sd.kfz.
Meanwhile a single prototype t-34-85 (STP) is TT.
I don’t know how, but they should bring back some of these in a more obtainable way so I’d say yes.

BUT technically there would be less demand so people would wait for this event and instead of the market and make prices drop by 2 pennies.
I don’t like it when they defend the market so hard, because then it ends up as a argument for balance because the X vehicle is rare and costs a kidney.
I literally brought coke for cheaper than all vehicles in the market go for.

yeah i dont like the market either i dont like the idea of event vehicles in general as there suppossed to be like prototypes or one off things but then you get things like the F4D-1 or F11-A which are service planes not prototypes or one offs, BIG BUT then you get vehicles like for example the F2G-1 or OBJECT 279 which are just a royal pain to fight cause there literally the pinnacle of a certain design for example ill use the F2G-1 at 6.0 as it best suits my problem
the F2G-1 super corsair has a 32 cyclinder engine and 3000HP and is 6.0 while the most advanced techtree is the F4U-4B at similar br the tech tree corsair gets 4 20mm cannons but thats where the advantages stop for it its at a HP deficit make less horse power on similar frame meaning youll get out energy by the F2G-1 and theres nothing you can do
so i would prefer event vehicles be useless stuff like F117 instead of being a OP prototype that was clearly suggested for tech tree
I just want a reliable way to get my missing WW2 Hungarian tanks. Yes, technically the Turán and Toldi sometimes is included in the battle pass, but with my luck, they would be the last that I would manage to draw from the box, and that would cost me not only years, but money, that I would like to not spend on a battlepass otherwise…
Oh I can assure you, I did not forget a bout him, but at least that was an one off prototype and not a series-production vehichle. Anyway, It surely would come handy at 4.0.
