+1, however like most events that’s a LOT of grinding in relatively little time.
Even if it was at a higher number of stars required, I’d appreciate it more if it was a permanent thing. For these old vehicles you could slowly knock off progress towards them while doing other research and avoid the event runtimes where everyone is sweating hard and makes playing the game somewhat less enjoyable.

I do not agree that much with this post. I do think the ability to obtain older event vehicles would be nice however I personally don’t think this approach is the way to go. I think being able to get low tier vehicle is fine but anything higher up I personally don’t think should be obtainable. (I also think that only being able to obtain vehicles not a pack vehicle and not available in the market would make more sense to me)
Certain vehicles like the E-100 is rare due to the fact it is a tournament prize vehicle making it so anybody could get it would remove a lot of the incentive for joining a tournament with that vehicle as a prize.
And I also agree with @Scärlett about the pack vehicles.
Just because something is rare doesn’t mean that there should be a method for any user to get it.
The packs you mention being no longer available go on sale every now and then sales were in 2013, 2017, 2020 and 2022 with limited numbers.
I agree not getting a vehicle and events feel like FOMO (Fear of Missing out) however it’s the same with any limited or special occasion thing even in real life. I personally have a collection of things that contain limited quantity, special editions, pre-order bonuses etc. and if any body could get those items at any point after that it would remove the incentive for purchasing those things, which would entail the companies that make them to stop making them special. (Bad analogy, but hopefully it make sense)

The exact specific vehicles aren’t as important as the actual event idea itself. I had personally forgotten about the fact that those Rank 1 vehicles got unlocked as soon as you reached Rank II.
This is all down to what Gaijin wants to do with them. Me personally, I see removed premium vehicles as sort of event vehicles. As soon as they are unobtainable, I think they should be part of this event.
Making this event a permanent thing removes all value of the current event vehicles, and any new onces in the future. I get it that you’d like to get your hands on the older event vehicles quickly, but realistically there must be some kind of heavy grind to it. Otherwise it would simply devalue the price of event vehicles to the point that they are nothing special anymore. And we got to keep in mind that Gaijin wants some way to profit of this, so the setup I propose has many ways for Gaijin to make a profit of it.
Like I’ve said before, the specific vehicles I’m showing in this suggestion aren’t as important. And I’ve accidentally included some that I thought were permanently removed of the store, but actually weren’t.

100$ for a plane is ridiculous for example the F11 F1 which is a rare event plane even though its a service vehicle that saw actual service warthunder market place should be gone

there shouldnt be a value on event vehicles esspecially since most event vehicles are OP and usually undertiered like BI or the new F6C for example they should not be only obtainble by money thats a ingame stock market basically which should not be allowed
event vehicles should not be a thing they should replace them with a tree of vehicles that is simply 3X the normal amount of RP per vehicle
cause im all for having hard to obtain things like cosmetics like in cod with skins but vehicles should not be the same
@super_cacti I also removed the “comment to suggestion moderators” as if you don’t want something possibly locked/passed to the devs then it shouldn’t be made in the suggestions area. As every suggestion has the opportunity to be passed to the devs and when that happens the post is locked.
you can always make a squadron vehicle, pretty much optional and with a hellish wait time.

People really don’t remember squadron vehicles, its a pretty neat way to add peculiar stuff to WT, and they almost never place it as an options on polls

I agree with the grind being “necessary”, and you could add some sort of time gate to this such that you can only select to grind another previous event vehicle every, say, 6 months. I don’t want to get them quicker, I want to not be forced to play all day for two weeks at a time to get them, at the same time as everyone else is also doing it.

I am very much against that, but okay. Many great suggestions have become locked due to them moving over to the considered section. Old image links become broken, and newly discovered information cannot be added anymore. As the creator of this suggestion I feel that I should have the ability to say no to this becomming considered, and thus locked forever.
The way I see event vehicles, and the way I view this event suggestion, is that there must be some kind of heavy grind to it. As can be seen in this comment section, there is already a split between people that love the idea, and those that are very much against it. I feel that making this event a common thing would do much more harm then good. But that is my opinion ofcourse.

I’d love to see this.
As a newer player who sink in I can tell the FOMO is real. I would love to fill my current lineups with unobtainable vehicles.
I bought plenty of premium vehicles, year of premium time, GE… some token of appreciation from snail would be nice.
Sadly I’m not this optimistic…

Yeah, I’m worried about that as well. My idea now is that at some point I’ll add a feedback and update topic that’s linked in the suggestion so devs can see and access it after it’s passed.
But I’m also not fully sure about the rules behind this and I haven’t asked yet.

This event wouldn’t take much time to make. It re-uses old models that are already in the game. The only thing that has to be made is the interface for the actual event
