Discord is quiite easy to create, not like forum and etc. Trust me there is bots, there is scammers there, there is files with trojants and etc. Good luck handling that :) Trust me i know. I did managed communities with 10k and more.

Usernames are getting warned to change. Wait for it.

What they should do first before announcing it. Disable everything, and slowly step by step allow something. Not like this , this is PR nightmare which did more damage and will be remembered forever.
They should did that before, thats common sence. yet. Here we go.
Or don’t make a Discord at all. The difference is that Gaijin doesn’t know the community they made. Many franchises with Discords do well cause its a healthy environment of people who aren’t dumb.
The Problem with WT’s community is that there never was a sense of community. They cultured and grew what is essentially a giant adult-sized baby.

Will this Discord server, a official Discord server, be used to improve the communication between players and developers? I’ve read the A Community For All but I mean literally, how much better can we expect a improvement in this aspect for the community—the communication?

Force members to use their in game nickname as their server nickname and ban people in game if someone posts obscene content in that server.

I do not understand why people have to behave that way . . it’s beyond ridiculous.
I won’t even begin to mention the “atrocities” I have seen and been told about
in just a few minutes over there. And people ask why Gaijin does some of
the things that they do . . … community should be ashamed of itself really.
