Nothing a ban hammer can’t fix.
Discord is quiite easy to create, not like forum and etc. Trust me there is bots, there is scammers there, there is files with trojants and etc. Good luck handling that :) Trust me i know. I did managed communities with 10k and more.

What they should do first before announcing it. Disable everything, and slowly step by step allow something. Not like this , this is PR nightmare which did more damage and will be remembered forever.
