I geniuenly want to unsee some of the gifs that were posted there ngl
(last thing I saw was a gif of someone shoving a squirrel up… you get the idea…)
I cant imagine having to moderate something like that…

Worse decision ever. Now there will be so much spam there, and impropriate content, so mods will have to 24/7 filter it. They have 0 idea what they just created.
a greater slowmode won’t fix anything
there’s too many people and to few channels
they need to expand the server to more than 3 channels (only 2 of which are really getting used)
probably remove it for the general/off topic, but retain them for any smaller slower channel i’d say (eg say like a US-Ground channel)
i hope so, just with a large slowmode to avoid spamposting

And they will do that no matter how hard you will try. This is discord , They have 0 idea what to do with it. How to control it and overall they don’t have capacity of ppl to manage it.
So now there will be double of spam in forum and much more spam in discord, and yet quantity of mods/forum mods or whatever they don’t have it.
Please add more mods and disable the ability to post gifs in that server. It’s literally a cesspit at the moment

It’s a mortal mistake to not turn media (GIF embeds and images) permissions off for everyone, even those who got verified.

Not gonna lie, opening a Discord server to probably the most schizophrenic community in gaming and then not putting any restrictions on GIFs, pictures, or videos in the chat channels might not be the best idea lol. Honestly good luck to the moderators on that server.
