I would like to suggest this Opel Blitz equipped to apparently Street fights as well as low flying air protection. There is sadly nothing more known about it except this picture, possibly taken by a Partisan, considering that it was taken from a house up higher and from cover, which is visible on the Photo.
Historically, many different Trucks and Halftracks were equipped with 1 of the 2 existing models of Drilling Lafette for Mg 151, which also existed in a factory mounted configuration.
These Lafettes were one complete unit ready to be fixed to the ground or vehicles, with 2 versions:
- More simple (more often ground fixed) lafette with shoulder stocks, optionally a big armor plate to the front.
- Vehicle version (as found on Sd.Kfz.251/21) with seat, no shoulder stocks, optionally a gun shield.
These are manly different from the above mentioned way of aiming vertical.
On this Opel Blitz it is visible that they used 2x of the first mount with shoulder stabilization.
In game this would be similar to the 251/21, however more speedy, MORE FIREPOWER at the cost of no armor. (It is not clear if these 2x Drillings have their armor plate). But would offer very high fire power of 6x Barrel’s with a combined fire rate of 4200 rpm, ideally (since they are 2 separate mountings and guns) the front one fired as “Primary armament” and the back one as “Secondary armament” like the 128 and 75mm guns on the Maus, so that you can fire more effectively (continues one after the other or interleaved).
